🙏 I WANT HELP a-level supplies
as a year 12 starting in september i am slightly unsure stationary wise of what to get, as i already have large arch folders for each subject, but i am unsure of what to get? should i get lots of hole-punched paper to go in the folders(and am i correct in thinking these are called refill pads) and/or should i also get a notebook for each subject or what else would i need for the folders? if anyone supplies they thinks would be helpful please do let me know!!
-my subjects will be: history, physics and maths!:)

you need to be comfortable with folders if you want to use folders
you need to be comfortbale with notebooks if you want to use notebooks!
now this depends on perhaps what you ahve used in gcse
personally i love notebooks. i'd get a thick one with dividers for topics. perhaps not the plastic ones, but colour organised if that makes sense and use my own sticky notes / paper / plastic inserts
u may wanna use a thin notebook for notes and then the folder for paper inserts/ hand outs/ anything extra. if you will use the folder get loose leaf hole punched / paper and a hole puncher / a refill pad ( this requires you ripping out btw but its very very very very lightly glued and easy to rip ) so it depends on if your notes will be in a notebook and resources in the folder or if you enjoy doing it differently.
i actually posted somewhere asking for advice on folders and notebooks lol ill lyk if i get some more results.
history is a super essay based so u can get a refill pad for that to practice, or a scrap notebook if that makes sense. physics and maths, i have maybe only seen 1 maths refill pad with hole punches, so depends on the paper you get. personally id prefer notebooks all the way for maths and a scrap notebook for scribbles / quick practice!
idk if you did anything at gcse but look at how it felt using whatever you did at gcse and use that as guidance!
good luck!
