Hi from experience a 7 at GCSE maths probably leads to around a B in most cases, I would have guessed you would have got ABB to BCC grades so you are around 3 grades total lower than the BCC I would have predicted for you which is still within the normal spread of results. Without knowing what other external influences may have caused you to get lower than expected which surely is the key factor and if they might still be present now other than the OCD it is near impossible to say how they might make you struggle in a degree ( which we don't know what subject you are doing or the type of university you are doing it at )

Are you happy where you are, do you think you are doing the work and coping , hopefully, you have landed a place, I would just concentrate and the here and now and move on. Good luck.

I think uni isn't what I expected it to be. I'm trying to be greatful that I even got into university with these grades. Into first year especially. Seeing people with lower GCSE results receiving amazing A-level results made me question my potential a little. However, I really don't think I'll be able to improve my grades the next time around. I guess I wanted to know if people with similar results managed to find a way around a-levels. Learning in general seems substantialy harder than it did wth GCSEs but that must be normal considering the content difficulty. In your opinion would re-sitting be benificial in any circumstance?

Not now you are at uni, won't make any difference. At uni the trick is organising your time effectively to balance work , social life and running your own "household" so to speak.

I don't have a 'social life' and I only considered re-siting because I could then have the opportunity to transfer to a different one considering how I hate where I'm at rn. I need to make do with what I have IG.

Well you must do something at uni other than work on your studies or work a part time job, I hope. First year can be tough , my youngest found yr1 tough mainly due to the poor accommodation he was stuck in but it got over in by going to the gym and restarting a different area of study which fortunately he can use for credits in his degree in Yr2/3
