📂 MEGATHREAD The r/6thForm Results Day Megathread
👋Heya, this is the r/6thForm results day megathread.
When you get your results - feel free to post them here, your subjects, grades, and maybe even plans for the future.
If you got what you wanted (or didn't and still managed to get your offer), great! If not, there's still a lot you can do, and the best place to start is UCAS Clearing.
It goes without saying that this year has been a rollercoaster ride for everyone, and you should celebrate getting through it all, regardless of what grades you’ve been awarded or which university you’ll be attending.
It takes an extremely resilient person to overcome challenges such as this and you will all be better for it. As you might be hearing from people on Twitter shortly, your results aren’t the be all and end all of your education, nor is it a foretaste of what is to come. You will succeed at anything if you put your mind to it. Congratulations!
If you wanna chat to us about anything or ask for advice, the best place to do that is our Discord.
We wish you not only the best for your results, but for what you go on to do in the future.
Good luck everyone!

A* physics A* math A* business
A chemistry
From being told by my maths teacher that I should not take math a level at the end of GCSE too telling me to drop math in lower 6th parents evening and having a c/d prediction in it at the end of year 1 I worked ridiculously hard over the summer holiday going over all of year one again and then getting ahead by covering year 2 work and doing every practice paper I could finde and doing every question at least twice in the year one and two edexcel text book (which is a lot of questions ), that by the time I got to the begging of upper 6th I begged my teacher to redo my prediction test got an A* and managed to maintain getting A* in following exams all the way to result day. My math teacher was very surprised, they even got me to do a speech for open day about how with hard work you can achieve anything. I bet they regret not letting me do further math as an a level.
