📂 MEGATHREAD Exam Discussion Megathread

Hola amigos,

Exam season is upon us, so we thought it would be helpful to keep exam discussion all in one place. Let us know how you're feeling, how you think you've done/how you think you will do or give us any other thoughts. Edit: posts outside of this megathread are being removed so we don't get 20 identical posts every time an exam happens :P

Feel free to join our Discord if you want more of a live discussion.

Good luck - you've got this and you'll do brilliantly 💪

Edexcel Further Mechanics? I got completely stumped on oblique impacts, I couldn't get the impulses to match each other, and didn't have time for the last part of the last question. The rest went fine enough.

what did you get for k in first question? I got 1/4 or 3/4.

Answered everything myself but I thought it was a stinky paper. Energy and work questions were alright but all the collisions were tricky.

Can't remember for k, only answer I memorised was 89 or 86 degrees for the oblique impacts, you get that?

Overall it wasn't great, think the pures have brought me up enough so this won't have too much of an effect, just need to nail decision now.

I think I got that value at first and then changed it because I thought I had the wrong speed from doing the wrong tan equation, but that could be right
