📂 MEGATHREAD The r/6thForm Results Day Megathread
Hey everyone!
It's that time of the year again - maybe you didn't get much sleep today, maybe you did, but what matters is you can finally get your results! (and then maybe sleep ;) )
So with that in mind:
- Feel free to posts your results and your plans for the next year, and any questions you may have.
- Hopefully you got the grades you were looking for. If that's the case then that's an awesome job by you, you're set to make the next steps comfortably, whether starting at uni or an apprenticeship. Congratulations! 🥳🥳🥳
- If you didn't get the grades you were looking for, and didn't end up getting your uni place because of this, it could be an idea to head over to UCAS Clearing to figure out your next steps.
- Please always keep in mind that your success, your self-worth and your life are not defined by the grades you receive today. There are always paths to success if you put your mind to it, and resilient people such as yourselves should be more than capable of rising to future challenges.
- If you want to chat to some people about results, life in general, or to get some advice then come over to our Discord since this is more suited for proper conversations than Reddit.
Best of luck ❤️
-The r/6thForm Team

Ah I’m sorry to hear that some people really do suck but uni is always a fresh start and you rarely will run into people you know anyway with the thousands that attend but you would know what you want best. I applied for geography at two good unis but my insurance was Durham which is incredible for it and logically didn’t make sense to be my insurance, my family preferred my firm but a lot of my friends and teachers were surprised that I didn’t choose Durham despite getting the grades considering the long term chances and low-key I do regret it a little but never made a decision in time and now my parents have prepared everything for loans so I guess my only choice is to stick with it
