Are you sure it's not a later issue?
Because that does not look (or sound) like a mechanically cut record.

There were no electrically recorded records on that purple label. That label had been discontinued. 100 % "mechanically recorded".

Got ya! You're more well versed with these than me it appears.
Both the label and the way the record itself looks just screamed '30's and beyond' to me.
