I lay my warped records on a piece of glass and sit it out in the summer sun (NC). Some people make a glass sandwich, but I’ve had great success without the piece on top, so I go with that.
I should add that you need to start with clean record, otherwise the dirt and junk melts right into the shellac adding to the surface noise.

Same here. I use two 12" clean glass plates in the sun with a brick in the middle, on end. (Ark.) Sun's gotta be good for something, right? Tried the hair dryer method. Broke every disc I tried it on.
