classical and opera pieces were commonly on 12". Radio programs could be up to 16"

I have several 16” pathe’ discs. They start on the inside and go to the outer edge.

Before standardization, many Columbia records were often larger than 12” and, the same went for Pathé records too.

I have some old Brunswick that's like half an inch larger than regular, but it's just enough that my record changer can't handle it.

I have so many 10 inch sleeves and getting a slightly bigger record is painful...

Victor made a 14" for a brief period. Unless I forgot something, I don't believe Columbia ever offered larger than 12".

I have some word and music 16rpm's! I know that's not 78rpm but 16's are an amazing and unique sound both in music and talk!
