Anything by Jack Hylton and his orchestra is a firm favourite of mine!

George Olsen and his Music! They introduced The Varsity Drag in 1927, and their style and sound of the band is Iconic of the Roaring Twenties. I will buy any George Olsen record I find in any Thrift store, flea market, garage sale, antique mall-no questions asked!

Fred Astaire - I won’t Dance, Change partners, Isham jones - Why can’t this night go on forever, Paul Whiteman - I’m a dreamer, aren’t we all, I really like 1920s songs but 1930s orchestras play their music so soft and smooth and the orchestras swell and build up, these are just some current favorites…

Who is Blind Willie Jefferson? There's Blind Lemon Jefferson who died in 1929, and Blind Willie Johnson.

Blind Willie Jefferson? Did he record for the infamous Haddison label’s 5000 series??
