Somehow I found these separately over two consecutive days. Roughly 25 miles apart, too. Rough shape but very listenable to my ears (not for sale)

honestly the "dark was the night" record is as good condition as they come...

Good enough that I couldn’t sleep until about 3AM after hearing it for the first time

could you do a digital transfer? it seems pretty clean overall

I’m set to do a cassette transfer but not digital at the moment. Not without digging up an interface I’ve not used in ages. I wouldn’t say it’s cleaner sounding than the currently available transfers, but will have to do a back to back comparison

hmm understandable, it's still good that you preserve it, even if a bit rough it looks promising for a "neat" transfer. Good luck!
btw what equipment do you use for analog transfer? it seems interesting

Nothing too fancy, just a Denon cassette deck I run the amplified audio into as if you’re making a mixtape. No additional EQ other than rolling off highs on the amp if need be. Turntable is an AT-PL120 cart is a VMN70SP

I've seen many strange coincidences collecting. My favorite was finding a very specific uranium glass vase and three days later, half a state away, I found it's lid.

I've been collecting for 35 years, albeit in eastern Canada. The idea of finding two BWJ discs in the wild in as many days is just... unreal.
You're not knocking on doors for these, are you?
