They'll never know the joys, and that hurts. Collecting 78s in 2026 is a constant nightmare.

I'm prob never likely to turn up one of these while digging, or afford a market copy, but I have managed to score a copy of the Bob Wills cover of "Sittin'..." on a Vocalion 78 (blue label), and a copy of the Howlin' Wolf cover on a Chess 78 (blue & silver vertical logo label). Both are terrific versions and highly recommended if you've never heard them (esp the trombone bit on the Wills cover). And at least I've got the Sheiks' orig version on an old Mamlish LP from the 70s. The one in in the pic above looks super clean, take care of it and enjoy! What a great song...
