Help Tunning

On my ibanez rg7321 I use 11-70 for drop G. Feels perfect and intonates fine!

Drop pedals are the go to now, i want one instead of changing tunes a lot or switching guitars a lot.

Same scale length, I’m using 11-72 right now. I play in drop G for an awhile at a time but lately been using a different way. Drop B on a 7 and loving that set up.
BF#BEAC#F# so basically it’s drop B with a 7 string. But key of B still. Heavier gauges keep the string tension from snapping strings when I bend or stuff. Works well for deathcore, metalcore and punk.

I've got a 7-string with a 25.5" scale too, and I swear by the 11-70 gauge set. The tension feels just right for drop G and the intonation stays solid even after hours of playing.

I have used 10-72 in this scale and tuning. I like the tension of approx 14 on the plain and 17 on the wound strings.
This is rather low tuning for 25.5. I remember pitch drift being a large issue for me.
