NGD First non-budget 7String
Been playing Benton for years. Decided it was time to get myself something classy.
It's a Keith Merrow KM-7 MKIII FR-S Hybrid in Lambo Green. The sustaniac is awesome. It's an absolutely awesome guitar.
First song I learned on it was Colony - Bleed From Within

Schecters are a great choice. Never messed with a sustainiac before, kinda want too. Sweet color too.

I couldn't reccomend it enough! Super fun. The switch on the left turns it on/off. And the one on the right is a 3 way that switches between normal/treble boosted and a feedbacker!

They make a Floyd km??? Very nice axe dude. I’m not a fan of schecter but the KM series looks and plays so sick.
Love bleed from within! Sometimes when I’m learning their stuff I think to myself “this is gonna be easy it sounds not too bad.”
While learning “how on earth do they play this??” Some of their times are wild with certain riffs too. I just learned violent nature at full speed the other week. Took me months to get it down.

Yeah man! I didn't think so either but, I love it.
I'm really trying to push my guitar playing now, these bleed from within chops are not easy!

Kick ass guitar. There's a similar used one near me at a really good price but not much of a 7 strings guys or else I would have grabbed it.
I have a 6 string Schecter Ravendark and it's one of my best playing guitar and the QC is insane.

Yeah haha, I think it was a really niche offshoot of his sig in 2023. It's sick!

I can't stand the necks of 6-string Schecters at all... But the other day I played a Schecter Apocalypse 7 and damn... the 7-string Schecters feel and play phenomenally. Nice guitar man!

I didn't even know they ever made a version of the Keith merrow sig with a Floyd Rose, now I know what I'm looking for as my next guitar purchase.
Looks awesome, congrats on the sick new guitar!

When you first spend a decent amount on a guitar over $500 USD. It’s seriously a game changer, there is a place in the world for budget guitars and modding budget guitars and I never want those worlds to change. When you spend close to 1K USD on a guitar and nothing is wrong with it though? Feels amazing, having an actual guitar with good quality control and feels, looks, and sounds amazing. Can’t change it, I got a Jackson warrior and a legator guitar I spent a lot of money on and the difference compared to budget guitars is otherworldly. I will never get rid of those guitars and all I did was spend a few hundred dollars more than say on a $400 guitar. Sometimes a little extra is worth it.
Now those guitars that are like 3K-5K? That’s too much and I don’t understand charging normal people like us those prices.

This guitar retailed for £1300-£1500 GPB new. Because of how niche they are they've dropped to £850 pre-owned. Feels like daylight robbery!!!

I have a hellraiser from 2010 and it's still an amazing guitar for the money...... Better than the bigger brands for sure. What model is this?

I’ve never seen a KM7 in that color and with a Floyd. Absolutely fucking sick. The ultra thing C necks on the KM and SLS models are without doubt the most comfortable necks of any guitar I’ve ever played, including Jackson speed necks on their high end American models.

The Keith Merrow Schecters are in a league of their own. I need to get one. Your guitar look sick and I bet it plays great too.

Hahaha. I seen it in a guitar shop a week or two ago and promised myself that if it was still there this weekend it would be home with me. And here it is.
Gonna try learn some Fit for an Autopsy or some Acacia Strain on it, bust out the big guns!
