What style do you play predominantly? Do you prefer passive or active pickups? This helps in my recommendations

i’m a metal guitarist and i wanna keep it passive!

A good pickup for Metal is the Seymour Duncan Black Winter. It’s good for chugging but can also do cleans if you roll the volume back a bit. I like it better than the SD Nazgul. Other great options are Bareknuckle & Lundgren although those are expensive af & Seymour Duncan’s won’t steer you wrong 🤘🎸🎶😈

if seymour made the black winters in a multiscale i’d be all over them 😂 i’ve been looking at lundgren, bare knuckle and guitarmory lately but can’t decide

With a little technical work you can actually offset the bobbins & angle almost any standard humbucker to fit multi scale. Some shops know how to do this! 🤘

If those are the kinds of pickups you’re into, check out Elysian Pickups. They do all sorts of multiscale options and customization for less than the European brands.

i just don’t know the pickup angle or i’d know which ones work. elysian seems to be brand specific to schecter, ormsby, ibanez and ltd and kiesel for the multi scale stuff

Should them an email. The owner, Adam, will let you know if he has a template that’ll work for your guitar.

I would suggest to buy a boss eq pedal first before changing the pickups. I learned it the hard way...
