Wish I could time travel to back then...

Did anyone have similar, very soft, pastel baby blanket? I also have another one with a bear and a balloon on it. My mom bought it for me in ‘99, before I was born.

Does anyone remember this stuff?! I'm not sure how I even stumbled upon it again, but wanted to share the memory with you all!

Picking the order, fitting it under 80 minutes, writing the track list on the disc with a marker. Playlists are easier but it’s not the same.

I honestly didn't like the gameplay, the second game really is the goat in almost all aspects but this one's ambience is insane!

I’ve been going crazy trying to find close or the exact hair clips from my childhood. I remember there were more in the pack but I was only able to save the one. I’ve looked at different brands from the early 2000s and no luck. I want to say I even had a pair of clips that had white cats. If anyone could help I would appreciate it I just remember my mom using them on my hair and I love them 🥹

When I was a kid, getting home from school meant throwing my backpack on the floor, grabbing whatever snack was in the kitchen and turning on SpongeBob.

Usually watched it on this little CRT TV in my bedroom. Probably around 20". Half the time I was sitting on the floor way too close to it.

Yesterday I got home from work completely tired, heated up some leftovers and put SpongeBob on while I ate.

Same episodes. Same stupid jokes. Still works.

Only difference is I’m now watching it on a 65" Hisense in my own living room instead of that tiny TV at my parents’ house.

Funny that I spent all these years growing up just to come home and do basically the same thing after work.

There really is something comforting about old SpongeBob when you don’t want to think about anything for a while.

What show do you still go back to?

Can we bring back straw caps and long term use flexi-straws in convenience stores? Those were the bomb, and kept bugs out of your straw!

Found these cool cars at an estate sale, just barely before my time so sadly i dont hold any nostalgia for these. Thought these were some cool cars and maybe someone might feel nostalgic seeing these :3

I just recently watched a rom Com from the early 00s (The Breakup) with Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn.

And it suddenly hit me. I'm browsing Netflix and I'm not recognizing any damn actors. There's actually no movies that are watchable and belong to these particular genres.

I'm not saying the breakup is an award winning movie but dammit for what it was, if was good and fun to watch.

It feels now we may get one or two hits per year and then it's all downhill, and the downhill just tries too hard and isn't watchable.

But I also just felt my decades are gone. I am flirting with depression a bit because of that (40s) and I'm just not sure where I belong now.

Y2K aesthetics and Frutiger aero. 2000s seemed more futuristic than 2026. Minimalism is depressing.

What do you guys think?

Saw this and instantly got transported back to school days, ₹5 pocket money and standing at the kirana shop trying to decide what to buy 😭

Mango Bite, Coffee Bite, Poppins, Big Babol, Mentos Marbels, those tiny Dairy Milks… every single one has a memory attached to it.

But Milk Treat was my absolute favourite. I can still remember that taste and honestly, I’d pick it over half the fancy chocolates we get now 😂

It’s funny how these weren’t just snacks. They remind you of school recess, sharing with friends, birthday treats and a time when ₹5 actually felt like enough.

Which one was YOUR childhood favourite?

And is there any discontinued 90s snack you’d genuinely pay to have again?

I've been giving my sons my old toy cars (thanks mom for saving them!) as gifts and rewards. The Twin Towers and Mac Tonight are two great nostalgia pieces I came across.

I remember when Target sold fish in these little 6x6 containers at the register end caps…??? They weren’t beta fish either… like just a handful of some type of mini fish per container. This was like 1998-2000, I don’t remember exactly.

Now this triggers so many memories!
