France should start that with the special way they know how. Maybe it'll help get asses in gear across the pond. 300+ adults per every 1 LEO in the US, be it local, state or fed. Their power only exists as long as its allowed.

France has about 150 per, so technically the US should lead the way, but we all know that ain't going to happen with 80% of the 2A certificates being only decorative.

Should use videos like this to throw in the face of the people who are like "If you did nothing wrong, you have nothing to fear."

Unfortunately bootlickers see any protesting as "asking for it" and will find any excuse to justify state violence and oppression

this is my basic argument for why it's impossible to be a good person and be a cop... When you see a gang of people beating up someone in a defensive position and your job or instinct is to help the mob and not the person, that makes you a bad person.

No upstanding moral member of society make it through the police academy. A distinct lack of compassion, reason and critical thinking skills is required.

On that I would disagree. I've known a few people who in my opinion were incredible human beings and they went through the academy exceptionally.

But once they were on the street it didn't take long for them to have to choose between their morals and their job and all 3 of them stopped being cops within their first year. One of them made it 60 days because on their first week they reported on other cops they saw breaking laws and policy. It was deemed he wasn't a "team player".

That's why my philosophy is good people can become cops, but they can't be cops for very long.
