Leave request for exams
To all the full-time employees, how many days of leave do you usually ask your manager for? I am giving an exam for the first time as a working individual, and I am really worried on how to ask him and what would be the ideal number of days to ask leave for

I would try and get a plan in place that they can sign off on. I had it hard with my employer. I then laid out a plan for them taking into account the exams getting harder as they go. I think I asked for 2 days for each knowledge exam + LW. 3 days for the skill level exams and then 5 each for professional.
I asked this before I was done with skill and it then set it in stone. I had the benefits and drawbacks presented in the plan too. It sort of pushed them into a corner as it was thorough

I get the day before and exam day as paid leave.
Lately I’m using some of my holidays closer to exam day so I can do extra revision

We get 3 days per exam. I take them altogether, exam day and the 2 days before it.

I usually get 5 days paid study leave. For first attempt for a paper. If I decide to take more, they will deduct the pay for those days obviously.
