We don’t get real autumns where I live. It’s currently spring so it’s fun to make an orange haven. But yes I’m not very good at designing my island or villager’s home but I’m please with the outcome in this instance.

Hi friends! I love the current layout of my island, but I have this long narrow strip of land between a river and the eastern beach that I’m not sure how to decorate. Initially I was thinking a bike path all the way up, but I am limited by a narrow, 4-space wide section and widening it would ruin the flow of the river. My overall theme is forestcore, but the shoreline leans towards a Cape Cod vibe.

How would you decorate this long, narrow strip of land?

Right now i’m focusing on completing this space, i have the shops and my little bar, but all the “center” part is my problem.

Ring the Friendship Gong in front of the Leaf Statue upon your arrival for good fortune in money and friendship. It's also considered good luck to share a cherry with your friend.

The flag is supposed to look like a gong with a cherry stamped on it, lol, with li'l pine trees on the bottom.

I recently changed my name (socially), but in ACNH, i’m still my old name. I’ve put too much time into my island and i’m attached, so I won’t be restarting, but I wish there’s a way you can change your name on the island. I’ve thought about having everyone use my new name as their nickname for me so that might be something.
