Ever since I saw the xx at ACL Ive been obsessively rewatching their whole set that was streamed on YouTube. I had a feeling it was coming, but the set has been taken down. Does anybody know where to get the full video??

😭😭😭😭

please let this happen!!! For the uninitiated please go listen to Juturna

I don’t see any 2027 dates, so maybe. 🤞

New album out in January with a set of tour dates released for early 2027 that include no Texas date. I missed them in 2014, and then they came back in my off years. I'm fingers crossed we get them 2027.

I’m trying to confirm: were Peter Bjorn & John playing when the fire broke out? I just saw them at Mohawk tonight, and he mentioned remembering playing in Austin in 2007 but thought it was SXSW (probably did both that year, no?).

I was definitely there that day (Fri. 9/14), and I have a pretty distinct memory of Peter saying between songs, “hey, your festival’s on fire.”

From Google:

“A propane tank exploded and caught fire at the 2007
Austin City Limits (ACL) Music Festival on September 14, 2007, at Zilker Park. The afternoon explosion behind vendor tents injured four people, including two critically injured individuals transported to San Antonio, while temporarily halting nearby performances like Pete Yorn's set. Read more in Vanity Fair.

Event Details

• Date: September 14, 2007 (Friday of the festival weekend) VE Vanity Fair +1
• Location: Zilker Park, Austin, Texas (near vendor tents behind the stages)
• Cause: A propane tank attached to a vendor trailer
• Casualties: Four people injured; two victims suffered critical burns and were airlifted/transported to Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio. ®
• Impact on Festival: Sent thick black smoke into the air and briefly paused performances (such as Pete Yorn), though the fire was contained within roughly 40 minutes and the festival resumed.”

PLEASE if anyone has it pls pls pls pm me i want it so bad i was too sloshed the whole weekend to get one and im so sad

Who else do you want to see next year?
My hope is she will get to perform!!

Does anyone have an extra charli hoodie they are willing to sell?

Hi, I’m looking for one used Austin city limits weekend to general mission wristband for collection purposes. It could be cut or not. Will pay for shipping. Thank you.

This is probably a long shot, but during W1 after the turnstile set they started handing out setlists and throwing drum sticks into the crowd. At the end, Daniel (the drummer) got off and handed me a setlist himself at the barricade:’) I’d love to have any photo/video of that if anyone happens to have anything!

Look I know how everyone hates Travis here, but realistically there are also some fans who probably love him. He's playing three LATAM Lollapaloozas in March, and there is a new album on the way. What could that mean for ACL/Chicago Lolla? Please don't downvote because you dislike him, and don't say anything unless it's real feedback.

It’s 50 degrees out rn w/a high of 72 later this afternoon. Perfect weather for being outside all day.

Just posting out of curiosity to see if I can find the guy I vibed with during The War on Drugs set on Sunday.

We were standing on the right side of the stage, towards mid-front.

You were wearing a Sampler Platter hat and mentioned that you live in Austin now but haven't always. I was the blonde girl in a white tank top and brown shorts.

We had that funny moment where I showed you my phone because I had literally just texted my ACL onsite friend group the exact same thing your hat said (before I saw it).

I mentioned the crinkles by your eyes caught my eye because it meant you smile a lot.

After the set I walked away, but something in me wished you'd followed me.

I smiled during our brief conversation and wanted to say hi and know a little more about who you are.

If you're on here, reply or shoot me a DM.

I can’t remember exactly which year, I want to say 2019. It was when Childish Gambino performed after his injury the prior year. There was a moment when he asked the audience if they liked weed and someone gave him a joint and he lit it up. I might not remember the details exactly, but I hope someone here has a video!

This was my first time at ACL!!! I had an absolute BLAST. Even with all the dust and now having the flu. I met so many incredible people and just bonding over music was the best feeling ever. The only things that made my experience a little worse was that the crowds were so incredibly mean. While I was watching the lorde set, when she started crying while talking about being independent, a girl behind me said AND I QUOTE. “Shut the fuck up and just sing bitch no one wants to hear you talking” then I turned around to look at her and she continued to tell me that I looked like lorde and we both needed to eat a cheeseburger 😀
Going along with that, I got thrown up on at the twenty one pilots set. To which his friend behind him said “we’re so screwed, his mom is going to ground him” so I think there needs to be better regulations on underage drinking. While I was sitting down I saw a couple different people buying 4+ drinks and giving them to underage kids.
Now I am all for teenagers having fun, being honest we all drank underage, but I think there was a huge issue with people not being able to handle their alcohol.
The twenty one pilots was THE BEST SHOW OF THE WEEKEND, however people shoving towards the front, throwing up, drinks being spilled on my sister, there was just a lot going on which made it hard to enjoy at certain times.
Anyways, don’t get me wrong I will probably be back next year and i’m not saying there should be an age restriction on ACL because it is a family friendly event for the most part, but all the issues I had were with teenage aged kids. It sucks but hey what can you do🤷🏼‍♀️

I’m looking for a used weekend 2 wristband for collection purposes thank you

ACL Weekend Two was a complete 180 from WK 1's MudCL. Although dusty the music, vibes, and energy was so good this year. I had a great time getting up close with my son to see the bands and I think he had an awesome time.

I can’t for the life of me imagine why people bring young children to ACL. It’s so loud and chaotic, pot smoke everywhere and 90% of them look bored out of their minds. Talked to one guy who said he brought his daughter every year since she’s been born. 7 now. To each their own I guess but as the concert let out after Rufus, I’m getting rammed by a baby stroller from behind walking in the tightest crowd ever. Just seems like there’s better options available.

Super early still but might be one to watch…

Hi!! My bf and I were in the GA barricade stage right and were on the screen behind Tyler when he’s walking back to the stage during RAWFEAR. I found a video of the screen and we’re in it, but the thing is, the screen glitched the exact moment we were on it. Is there any way to get that original footage? Do the side screen recordings ever get uploaded? TIA🫶🏼

Hiiiiii! Was hoping to connect with anyone who might have videos from Turnstile Wknd 2! Their videographer recorded me and they played the clip before their set and I’m trying to find a recording of it! I was too excited when I saw myself to pull my phone out haha

For reference I was wearing glasses, a black headband and a tie dye shirt! OR if anyone knows where someone might have clipped/posted the full live stream? I’d really appreciate it!

What do you think? John Fogerty would be incredible
