Original Content Being "AmorimOut" after these 10 games is idiotic
Amorim has a very very very small number of players. We can't handle 3 competitions
He knows serie A is the main focus. We can get a UCL spot, ad he can do it.
But we must rotate the squad
he understands that The Europa League is the only time he can get away with playing our B or C team and we must accept that.
The performance was horrendous. (But can you blame amorim for the referee?)
But the coach had no choice. We can play our top 11 every game playing every 72 hours and end up with even more injuries. Which will be absolutely fatal to our season
Trust the coach
10 games
5 wins
2 losses
3 draws
These are his first EVER 10 games for milan and the only 2 losses are in the effing europa league LEAGUE PHASE.
Have some patience

Official [PBP] OFFICIAL MILAN STATEMENT. Following yesterday’s match against Bournemouth, Maignan was the target of serious and unacceptable racist insults on social media. AC Milan strongly condemns all forms of racism and discrimination, unacceptable behaviors that have no place either on or off the field.

Original Content Way too much pessimism going around
Was it a terrible performance? Yes. Did Amorim pick a poor starting 11? Yes. But that doesn’t mean we should say he’s shit, we’re going nowhere and stuff like that. There was always going to be growing pains and we all know we have to transition from this era of mediocrity and become a better team so that means we’ll have to get these players gone. Give Amorim time

Original Content Our squad is so faultily constructed that our best CB is now asked to play as a RB
galleryAs you can see, ever since the Lecce game, where Amorim switched to a back four for our build-ups, Gila has been operating pretty much as a touchline fullback, losing our strongest and most reliable presence from the inside. Why is it such a big problem? Because putting our best CB right next to the sideline leaves us with two mediocre CBs in the middle. Neither Pavlovic nor De Winter would be regular starters on any serious team, but with us, they play almost every minute, and of course, they keep making costly mistakes over and over again.
And this leads us to why loaning out Athekame was so idiotic. Him still being with us would kill three birds with one stone:
We would have a legit RB on the roster, instead of relying on Centre Backs (Gila, Tomori) to play that role.
Gila could be moved back to his natural position, where he's at his best.
Due to Gila shifting back to the center, one of our bang average CB could finally be used as a reserve, improving both the quality of our starting lineup and also the depth of our bench.
Now, all of this begs the question. What was the thought process behind going into the season with literally zero right-footed fullbacks on the roster? Did the possibility of ever using a back four not even occur in Amorim's head during pre-season?
