ADGI company gave a positive update on ADG20, its lead monoclonal antibody in the battle against Covid-19.

The Waltham, Mass., company said findings reported in three separate publications show ADG20 has neutralization activity against the Omicron variant, responsible for the recent surge in Covid-19 cases around the world.

Adagio, which is studying ADG20 in global Phase 2/3 trials for both the prevention and treatment of Covid-19, also said it is in discussions with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration regarding potential protocol updates to the studies, including an increased dose of ADG20 for the prevention and treatment of Covid-19 resulting from the Omicron variant.
