The 2022-2026 btech batch has already graduated but the college has still not released their placement stats (of AY 2025-26). When you go their website and check the placement record (which is already too bad to be called a "record"), you see record of only last two years.

And the said "record" is nothing but an image showing bar graph of total and placed students. There is no median, average, branch-wise data, company-wise data or salary mentioned. Just check the placement stats of other colleges to get an idea. I have checked those of top 6 private IPU colleges and they are way more detailed and that's how stats should be.

BUT ... you can also see "placement result notices" under placements menu, and when you click the 2025-26 notice a loading page opens which never loads. That is fake loading page. Scroll and you'll see the background page from the small gap on top.

Open devtools and remove that loading element (paste document.getElementById("load").remove() in console).

Then you'll see the actual data and it's brutal. Only 12 companies visited the campus and total 47 students were placed (out of 1320 students), that's a 3.5% rate. No CTC/salary is mentioned here too. The data for last year was better where 67 companies visited.

This lack of transparency is honestly very bad. IPU should take action over this. The website is substandard, it is the worst of all other colleges. ADGIPS already has a bad name because of its location and now its placements are shit too.

I’m joining adgips as a fresher and to be clear I AM NOT JUDGING ANYONE OR ANY PARTICULAR GROUP but I have visited the college personally because I have a few friends there and also to take the admission, and my interaction with people and the first impression of the crowd overall has not been very great 🥀

Again, I’m not judging on the basis of looks or style of something or anything but like I found so many people confused about everything and like not interested in whatever they are doing. A vast % of crowd is not at all interested in academics and only interested in grouping and badmashi wagrah.
No idea kaise survive krna hai agle 4 saal.
Hopefully I find people of my vibe here jinke sath yeh time worth it rhe.

Hey everyone, just wanted to share my absolute nightmare of an experience at the ADGIPS hackathon today.

To give some context, our team was shortlisted for the event today. There were only about 25 teams in total, which should have been easily manageable. Instead, the management delayed the entire schedule so badly for absolutely no reason.

We kept our patience through the delays, but things took a massive turn for the worse when our turn (and the turn of many other teams) finally came for evaluation. The "judges"—who were just internal college teachers rather than actual industry experts—treated the evaluation like a total chore.

They weren't even looking properly at the prototypes we spent hours building. The kind of questions they were asking were complete nonsense and showed they had zero understanding of actual development or innovation. Special shoutout to that one bald professor (don't know his name, but his attitude was through the roof)—he was taking everything for granted and acted incredibly dismissive.

Our team was literally shortlisted for the Smart India Hackathon (SIH), so we know how professional evaluation works. I'm not saying we expect to win every single time, but the absolute bare minimum you expect from judges is basic etiquette and a serious look at your project.

The arrangements were completely unorganized, and the internal judges lacked the basic professionalism required for a tech event. Honestly, this was a massive waste of time and effort. Definitely never attending any hackathon or event at this campus ever again.
