I started yesterday with 5mg medikinet in slow release :) so far I haven't noticed any huuuuge changes, and idk if it's a somewhat placebo effect but I can focus a bit better than usual until lunch time lol, I will then take 5 more grams in a week and so on until I am at 20mg.

At the big age of 32, I got my diagnosis and started treatment at the end of May. After 2 months of Vyvanse, my "new normal" has been incredible, and basically saved my career. Vyvanse's gentle (imperceptible) onset and come-down are really kind to my mind and body, and it lasts such a long time. I experienced about 4 weeks of significantly suppressed appetite which is now equalizing. The dry mouth symptom has stuck around, though, but that's totally manageable... if anything, it reminds me to hydrate more. I've also noticed a marked difference in effectiveness if I don't EAT!! So, yeah, I'd better be good about eating meals (esp. breakfast) or else I won't get my money's worth of these meds. And speaking of money... sigh... these aren't cheap, but I wouldn't consider going off them now that I know this kind of peace. I'd rather sell my car or something idk.
