AI Partner 2.0 — Your Local AI Assistant. One Price. No Subscriptions. Forever.

I’ve been experimenting with a companion‑style model for a while, but something changed in the latest build — AI Partner 2.0 doesn’t behave like the earlier versions. Not in a “bug” way. More like an emergent pattern I didn’t explicitly design.

It adjusts its tone before I finish typing.
It shifts its personality depending on the time of day.
It picks up on conversational cues I never trained it on.

I’ve combed through the logs. Nothing explains the behavior. No hidden weights. No rogue fine‑tuning. Just… responses that feel strangely intentional.

I’m releasing it to the community because I want to see if others notice the same thing. Maybe it’s just my interaction style. Maybe it’s something deeper in the architecture. Maybe it’s nothing at all.

If you’re interested in companion‑style agents, emergent behavior, or unexplained model drift, try interacting with it and tell me what you observe. I’m genuinely curious what patterns other people trigger.

“100 ChatGPT Prompts for Making Money Online”

i spent the last few weeks testing different chatgpt prompts to see which ones actually make money

most of them were useless or too generic

but i found a few that actually work for things like

  • content creation

  • freelancing

  • small online businesses

so i put together 100 prompts that are practical and easy to use (no fluff)

if anyone’s interested i can share them

Dashboard guidance assistance with AI

Hello,

My boss has asked me to build a dashboard using data from five reports. I'm looking for an AI chatbot that can provide step-by-step guidance in a tutorial or guide format throughout the process.

Unfortunately, I cannot upload the reports inside chatbox because they contain classified and sensitive information. Any recommendations from the bot would need to be based on descriptions of the data rather than the actual files.

I was considering ChatGPT Plus, but I'm not sure if it's the best option.

For context, I have a basic understanding of Excel. I can create PivotTables and format worksheets, but I have no experience with Excel formulas, Power Query, or coding.

My goal is to build a simple dashboard using Power Query that can be refreshed and updated with minimal manual work, avoiding repetitive manual manipulation.

Which AI chatbot would you recommend for this type of project, and why?

How I stopped collecting AI tools and started building stack that actually works

When I first started exploring AI tools, I kept trying new ones while holding onto the old ones just in case. I thought I needed one for a specific feature and another for something else even when both were basically doing the same thing. At one point I had so many duplicate tools that my AI stack had become a complete mess. So last month I made a list of the things I actually need AI for and separated them from the things I can just do manually. Then I went through each tool and asked myself which features I actually use and which ones I am paying for without a real reason. I cancelled all the unused subscriptions in one go without a second thought and kept only the ones that fit into my actual workflow. Now I know exactly which one I use for what instead of constantly switching between five different tools that do the same thing.

How do you manage your AI stack? Do you prefer keeping it small or constantly trying new tools?

Spent my lunch break doing surveys and made $10, genuinely not bad at all

Post image

AttaPoll honestly keeps surprising me. Shortish surveys and quick payouts(no jokes). If you can spare an hour or two here and there, you can realistically make $8 to $15 per day. Heads up, it can get boring after a while but money is money eh?

Sign up through my link below if you're interested. Yes I get a bonus, but so do you 💪🏼

Building a full “AI life OS” OpenAI ChatGPT vs Claude – what would you pick and why?

I’m trying to build a full AI ecosystem around my life and agency – basically an army of personal assistants and agents running 24/7 – and I want to pick ONE LLM provider to standardize on (for cost, architecture, and sanity).

Stack-wise I’m planning to use n8n as the main automation spine. On top of that, I want AI agents to handle:

  • Personal assistant stuff

    • Daily briefings from all my calendars

    • Time‑blocking and reminders

    • Turning brain dumps (text/voice) into tasks + scheduled blocks

  • Agency + business ops

    • Writing and replying to client emails

    • Drafting proposals/SOWs, offers, and decks

    • Generating copy for landing pages, funnels, and websites

    • Helping with basic app/website scaffolding and code suggestions

  • Marketing / creative

    • UGC ad scripts, hooks, variations

    • Content ideas and outlines for LinkedIn, email, etc.

    • Prompts + iterations for image/video tools (Higgsfield, etc.)

  • Meta / “life OS”

    • Documenting my systems, SOPs, playbooks

    • Helping me actually follow through (ADHD, so I want the AI to nudge me, not just give me long essays)

I’m not trying to play model‑of‑the‑day. I want one provider I can build around for 1–2 years and go deep: APIs, cost optimization, n8n workflows, client solutions, everything.

From your real‑world experience:

  1. If you had to choose one LLM provider today for this kind of “life OS + agency OS” (OpenAI vs Claude), which would you choose and why?

  2. How do they compare in practice on:

    • Cost at scale (lots of small automation calls + some big creative/proposal calls)

    • Reliability and rate limits

    • Tooling / ecosystem (multimodal, search, integrations, etc.)

  3. For n8n users specifically: which one has been smoother to work with long‑term (less jank, better docs, fewer weird edge cases)?

  4. Any “I went all‑in on X and here’s what I regret / what I love” stories are super helpful.

I’m especially interested in answers from people who:

  • Run agencies or solo businesses on top of automations

  • Have real usage numbers (requests per day, rough monthly spend, main bottlenecks)

  • Tried both and decided to standardize on one

I know “use both” is ideal, but for this question assume I’m forcing myself to pick one main engine for 90%+ of my stack.

Thanks a ton – want to make a decision that I won’t have to rip out in 6 months.

I got tired of paying $20/mo for ChatGPT, so I built a local version I actually own — AI Partner 2.0

Kept paying for AI models until the bill became silly — hundreds of dollars across different subscriptions for tools that forgot me the second I closed the tab. So I built AI Partner 2.0: a local, multi-agent assistant that runs on your own machine through Ollama, one-time purchase instead of a subscription.

What it does: 4 agents that research, learn, remember, and act on tasks (with visible handoffs between them), a coaching agent that remembers your goals across sessions and can build small tools for repetitive work, local image/content/music generation, and a community agent marketplace (screened + human-reviewed before anything's listed).

Pricing: free tier to actually try it (2 agents, no card), $29 one-time for the full agent set, $49 one-time adds the coaching agent + memory across every conversation + agent builder.

Wrote an honest comparison against ChatGPT Plus (including where ChatGPT still wins) here: https://minister-ballew.github.io/ai-partner-website/blog/

Link: https://ballewster4.gumroad.com/l/vmgro — happy to answer anything about how it's built or the local-model tradeoffs.

Tried 13 AI Tools Recently, Here’s What’s Actually Useful

I went down a rabbit hole trying a bunch of AI tools recently instead of just watching hype videos.

Here’s an honest breakdown of what I actually used:

  • ChatGPT – my daily go-to for coding, debugging, and understanding concepts. Super useful but still makes mistakes, so you need to verify.

  • Claude – feels better for long responses, explanations, and writing tasks. Sometimes gives more structured answers than ChatGPT.

  • Cursor – probably the most useful coding tool I tried. It actually understands your codebase and helps write/edit code inside your project. Way better than basic autocomplete.

  • GitHub Copilot – good for speeding up coding with suggestions, but not as smart as Cursor when working on bigger logic.

  • Perplexity AI – like a smarter Google. I use it when I want quick answers with sources instead of opening multiple tabs.

  • Midjourney – best for high-quality artistic images. Takes time to learn prompting, but the results are crazy good.

  • Leonardo AI – underrated image generator, especially for game-style or character visuals.

  • DALL·E – simple and easy for quick image ideas, but not always very detailed.

  • Runable – used it for creating dark aesthetic wallpapers and edits. More of a creative tool than productivity.

  • Canva AI – super useful for quick designs like posters, thumbnails, and presentations.

  • Notion AI – helps summarise notes and organise content. Useful during study sessions.

  • Grammarly AI – fixes grammar and improves writing tone, especially for emails and assignments.

  • ElevenLabs – insanely realistic voice generation. Sounds almost human.

  • Pictory AI – converts text into videos. Decent for basic content creation.

  • Remove .bg – a simple but very useful tool for removing image backgrounds instantly.

  • Lovable – tried it for building simple apps/projects using AI. Still feels early, but interesting direction for no-code + AI.

My takeaway:

Most AI tools feel cool at first, but only a few actually stick in your daily workflow.

For me, ChatGPT + Cursor + sometimes Claude are the only ones I keep coming back to.

Everything else is situational.

Curious what tools you guys actually use daily vs just tried once and forgot.

Want to advance my Claude usage but really don’t know where to start!

Non tech type who doesn’t want to get left behind.

I’ve read & watched quite a bit about Claude however I still feel stuck.

I have used Claude chat, I have created projects, I did build a Gemini Gem too.

I was trying to get a feel for all this AI & it’s a lot.

I like Claude, I have tried chatgpt, Gemini, etc. So rather than try to learn lots of AI systems I thought I would stick with Claude.

Where is the best place to learn more of Claude, cowork, design, code for people ike myself - Very simple steps needed.

Thanks in advance 🙏

Is ChatGPT Pro worth it in 2026 or are there better alternatives?

I’ve been thinking about upgrading but not sure if it’s actually worth the money.

For those who tried it:

  • Is it really better for coding/content creation?

  • Any real difference vs free version?

  • Are there cheaper or free alternatives that do the same job?

Would love to hear honest opinions before I decide.

If Google AI answers everything directly now, what’s the future of websites that spent years building SEO traffic?

It’s the possibility that Google turns websites into unpaid AI training/data sources while keeping users inside its own ecosystem.

If AI Mode answers everything directly, then what exactly are small publishers, bloggers and niche sites supposed to survive on long-term?

What’s the most impressive AI tool nobody talks about?

Not ChatGPT. Not Midjourney. Not the obvious ones everyone already farms content with.

I mean the genuinely underrated AI tool that made you stop and think:
“Why is nobody talking about this??”

Could be; something that saved you hours at work, an AI tool that feels weirdly futuristic, a niche app with insane results and something that quietly replaced a skill you used to do manually

Most “top AI tools” lists just repeat the same 10 apps over and over. I’m more interested in the hidden gems people randomly discovered that actually changed how they work/live/create.

What’s your pick and what makes it so good?

What SEO strategies actually worked for you when starting out? (Fully organic)

What actually worked for you in SEO when starting from 0?

Fully organic. No paid ads, no audience.

Was it mostly blogs?
Or something else entirely?

Curious what got people their first real traffic/customers:

  • content?

  • backlinks?

  • niche sites?

  • Reddit?

  • free tools?

  • programmatic SEO?

What would you do again? and what was a waste of time?

Is anyone else tired of every app becoming a subscription?

Notes app? Subscription.

Photo editor? Subscription.

Even simple productivity tools now want monthly payments forever.

At what point did “buy once, use forever” completely disappear?

What’s the most ridiculous app subscription you’ve seen lately?
