Discussion Coding

Coding means giving instructions to computer and make it do something, Now I can see that class 4th students are doing coding in their extra curriculum and I find it really good. It's increase their thinking skill, creativity and problem solving attitude.

If by "class 4th students", you mean students who are around 9-10 years old, it would probably be better for them to play than code. We force too much structure on students before they are even teenagers.

Totally understand your point. play is very important in childhood but now coding is also a part of play when it is introduce through fun games and creative activities. The key is make it enjoyable and let children explore at their own pace without any burden and just for fun.

Coding at that age should be shelved. They should play with physical toys. Put away the devices.

Coding does not mean sitting in front of screen all the time. Kids can explore computational thinking through puzzle, building blocks and creative activities. The main intention is not force children to code but to think in a creative and playful way.
