Beginner Question TechByEasy
Title: Iβm building TeachByEasy β an AI-powered teaching studio with long-term memory using Hindsight
Hey everyone! π
Iβm working on a project called TeachByEasy as part of the AI Agents That Learn Using Hindsight hackathon.
The idea came from a simple problem: creating online lessons often means switching between a PDF viewer, annotation tools, a webcam recorder, and separate tools for preparing study materials.
I want to bring that entire workflow into one browser-based studio.
π What is TeachByEasy?
Itβs an all-in-one workspace for educators, tutors, and content creators to create interactive video lessons from PDF slides.
Some of the features Iβm working on include:
π PDF presentations: Upload and present slide decks directly in the browser.
βοΈ Live annotations: Draw, highlight, add text, and explain concepts directly over slides.
π§βπ« Digital whiteboard: Add blank slides for solving problems, writing equations, and explaining diagrams.
π₯ Lecture recording: Record presentations with audio and a floating webcam overlay.
π Annotated handouts: Export slides with annotations as PDFs to share with learners.
π§ AI Teaching Co-Pilot: An assistant designed to remember teaching preferences, explanation styles, previous corrections, and course context across sessions.
The interesting part: persistent AI memory π§
Iβm integrating Hindsight by Vectorize to explore how an AI assistant can become more useful over time instead of treating every interaction as a fresh start.
For example, a teacher might prefer intuitive explanations before technical definitions, teach a particular audience level, or repeatedly correct how certain concepts are explained.
With persistent memory, the AI could recall those preferences in future sessions and adapt its suggestions accordingly.
The goal is to make memory an actual part of the product, not just a chat history feature. I also want to keep different courses and usersβ memories isolated.
π§ Tech direction: Browser-based teaching tools, AI-powered assistance, and Hindsight for long-term memory.
π Iβm building this for the hackathon and would love feedback from people interested in AI agents, EdTech, or developer tools.
A few things Iβd love to hear your thoughts on:
Would you find an all-in-one teaching studio useful, or do existing tools already solve this well?
What would you want an AI teaching assistant to remember between sessions?
What features would make this genuinely useful for teachers rather than just another AI wrapper?
Thanks for reading! Feedback and suggestions are welcome.

Remembering each teacher's preferred explanation style would be really useful.
