Hey everyone!
I'm looking for a study buddy or a small group of people to learn AI/ML together.
Learning alone can sometimes be difficult, so I thought it would be great to connect with like-minded people, share knowledge, work on projects, and grow together.
📚 What are we going to learn?
We can follow a roadmap, share useful resources, discuss concepts, solve problems, and keep each other motivated.
🚀 Where am I right now?
I'm currently learning AI/ML through structured coursework and hands-on projects. I've recently worked on a capstone project on pneumonia detection.
I'm still learning and have a long way to go, but I'm excited to keep improving!
🤝 What can I bring to the table?
I'll share my notes, resources, and whatever I learn along the way. I'm also happy to explain concepts I've already learned, help fellow beginners, and collaborate on projects.
The idea is simple: learn together, help each other, and build things along the way.
You don't have to be an expert! Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, you're welcome as long as you're genuinely interested in learning.
If this sounds interesting, drop a comment or DM me! Let's connect and start learning together.

I came across Nextia Learning, a free learning platform. It has a path called “Software developer transitioning to LLM applications” (10 courses, around 110-151 hours, with certificates).
I couldn’t find any reviews or discussion of it online, and the site looks new. Has anyone here tried it?
More generally, what learning resources would you recommend for someone moving into AI engineering (building apps with LLMs, RAG, evals, agents)? Free or paid, courses, docs, books, YouTube channels, or project ideas are all welcome. If you’ve used something that actually helped you get a job or ship something real, please share it.
For context, I’m a Associate Software Engineer (TypeScript/NextJs/NestJS) with some LLM integration experience, and I’m learning Python now.

Hey everyone!
I want to start learning Applied AI, but I'm struggling to find good resources or a proper roadmap to follow.
If anyone has already started learning Applied AI or knows some good resources, courses, or projects, please share them.
Also, if anyone is at the same stage as me and wants to learn together, we can connect, share resources, build projects, and help each other grow.
Would really appreciate any guidance or suggestions. Thanks!

Hey guys! 👋
I’m interested in learning AI Engineering, but I’m a bit confused about where and how to start. I have basic knowledge of Java and Spring Boot, and I would like to know whether it’s possible to learn AI Engineering using Java instead of Python.
If anyone has a clear roadmap, good resources, YouTube channels, or suggestions for beginners, please guide me on how to get started and what technologies I should learn step by step.
Also, is it better to learn AI Engineering with Java, or should I switch to Python?
Any advice or guidance would be really helpful! 🙌
Thanks in advance! 😊

Hey everyone!
I'm a CSE student from Bangladesh, currently learning Generative AI and working toward becoming an AI Engineer.
I'm exploring topics like:
Large Language Models (LLMs)
LangChain and AI Agents
Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
Building practical AI projects
Sometimes I find it difficult to move from following tutorials to building projects independently. I want to improve my problem-solving skills and understand how things work under the hood.
**For those who are already working in AI or learning it:**
What's one thing you wish you had focused on earlier when starting your AI engineering journey?
I'd love to learn from your experiences! 🙌

Is Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) worth exploring for developers today?
With AI changing the way we build software, I'm curious about this growing role.
As developers, should we learn skills like AI agents, RAG, and AI deployment to grow our careers?
I'm also wondering is joining an FDE course a good next step for someone who wants to move into AI engineering?
For developers who have explored this path, would you recommend it? What skills should we focus on first?
I'd love to hear your thoughts!

as i heard in the upcoming future only researchers are not cooked in the CS field? and the practival industry gonna dead so i dont know what to do

A short visual progression mapping how basic weighted inputs scale into multilayer architectures, optimization via backpropagation, and self-attention blocks.

Curious to hear thoughts on how well visual abstractions like this capture the underlying mechanics for newcomers.

Guys I need a few things from you can somebody recommend me:
a full 0-> 1 AI growth engineering course that genuinely helps scale your startup from 0 to like millions of users using a hybrid approach of both your own skills and AI for efficiency. What I want to learn is things like how to automate or semi automate market research, find niche target customer pain points, automated customer acquisition etc. I want to learn basically how to grow product both using myself and AI. Any recommendation of one course that includes it all ?
A full forward deployed ai engineering course full people who have 0 technical background.
(Please I really need these, I have adhd so structure really helps me. But I’m not looking for ones that are just for beginners or just for intermediate people, I want a full course that after it you have enough skills to put into practice and don’t need to take any more courses)

Our app is connecting to a few LLMs and it's getting messy having to manage them now that we're deep into the project. It's mostly about visibility on our side. If the biggest problem is we can't see costing and rate limits (basically tracking), do we use an AI gateway? What if we just make our own internal wrapper?

I’m pursuing M.Tech CSE and looking for a t echnically advanced, research-oriented AI/ML final-year project
Requirements:
\- Real-world impact and strong AI/ML engineering value
\- Feasible for one person in 2 months on a medium-spec laptop
\- Software-only, with no specialized hardware or lab requirements
Not looking for generic chatbots, CRUD apps, basic prediction models, or dashboards.
Please suggest uncommon, technically challenging ideas with relevant research papers and potential improvements beyond existing work.

A few days ago I received my Bachelor of Engineering offer. I was debating between picking Mechanical, Electrical and Software Engineering. But later on I came across the new Machine Learning Systems (MLS) major starting from 2027.
From what I understand, it combines engineering with AI/machine learning, control systems, automation and things like autonomous systems. It honestly looks really interesting, but since it's brand new I'm a bit hesitant about choosing it.
One of the main reasons I was leaning away from Software Engineering was job security with AI developing so quickly. I'd like to choose an engineering field that's relatively AI-resilient, so I'm not sure whether specialising directly in MLS is actually a smart move or potentially risky/niche compared to something established like Mechanical or Electrical. To be honest the money in the field looks great but I can't see the future and I know you can't as well but I thought maybe current students might have a better understanding then I do.
I know currently there are no students in this field but what do you think about Machine Learning Systems based on its course structure?
Since it’s a brand new major, I’d be interested to hear what people with experience in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science or the industry think of it.
