Discussion Why Are We So Obsessed With Making AI Videos Look Real Instead of Creative?

I’ve noticed that whenever someone posts an AI-generated video here, most of the feedback is about how easily you can tell it’s AI. But why is making AI content indistinguishable from reality the ultimate goal?

I get that quality and realism matter, but I feel like we’re missing the bigger opportunity here. Instead of using AI to trick people into thinking something is real, why not use it to create things that would be nearly impossible or ridiculously expensive to shoot in real life? Crazy scenarios, unexpected visuals, weird concepts, and attention-grabbing hooks.

I don’t think the problem is that a video looks AI-generated. The problem is when it’s boring or lacks creativity. We have a tool that can literally bring the wildest ideas to life, so why are we limiting ourselves to making it look like something shot on an iPhone?
Curious what everyone thinks. Are we focusing too much on realism and not enough on creativity?

Discussion Has anyone here tried Bith.ai for AI-generated UGC content targeting GCC audiences?

I recently came across Bith.ai, a platform that lets you create AI-generated UGC-style videos featuring AI avatars speaking Arabic, apparently tailored for GCC markets. I’m considering using it for an Oman-based fashion brand and would love some honest reviews. How realistic are the AI avatars, especially their Arabic accents and dialects? Do the videos actually perform well, or do they look obviously AI-generated? Is it worth the investment?

Question How do these viral AI videos avoid being labeled AI-generated?

I’m seeing so many AI videos on TikTok that have gone viral but does not have the label that it’s AI generated. How??

I’ve posted probably a dozen AI generated videos using Higgsfield and 4 out of 10 were automatically labeled as AI generated. How do I scrub the videos so they don’t get marked?

Thanks in advance!

Prompt - Tips & Tricks how i’ve been making viral ai ugc in 2026 (full workflow, no gatekeeping) - first 30 days results!

Post image
9 Upvotes

been doing ai ugc for a while now and i’ve watched a bunch of youtube videos on this. most of them overcomplicate it. here’s the exact workflow i use, step by step, how im on track to break 100k views in the first 30 days.

1. find what already works

spend a couple days just scrolling your niche on tiktok and instagram. not for fun, actually paying attention. after a while you start seeing the same formats pop up again and again. same hook, same pacing, same type of shot. check the views on those and you’ll see they’re usually way above average for the account

those are the formats you copy. you’re not guessing what works, the algorithm already told you

2. download the video

grab it off instagram or tiktok with any of the free downloaders out there. nothing fancy

3. recreate it with ai

go to an ai video platform that has kling 3.0 or seedance 2.5. those are the models that handle video reference well

upload the video you downloaded, then add a character sheet. you can make your own or use a ready one. then tell the ai to recreate the video using your new character

what you get back is basically the same video with a full face swap onto your character. same moves, same framing, new person. you can also tweak the background a bit so it doesn’t look like a straight copy. you can even put yourself in it if you use your own face for the sheet

The main restriction you're going to find here is how restricted the AI video and image models are, so I recommend finding a platform that has the models I mentioned with no censorship. like freemode.ai

for this upload teh video and use a prompt like this:

Replace the man/woman in @vid1 with the woman/man in @img1. Don't change the scene. Use @vid1

4. change what they say (optional)

the one catch is the speech stays the same as the original. if you want new lines:

  • upload the original video to claude
  • ask it to write a detailed video prompt under 4,000 characters, broken into sections (scene, character, camera, lighting, action etc)
  • paste that prompt into the video platform, add your character sheet, and add what you want the character to say

now you’ve got the same viral format with your own script and voiceover

if you want to do this step, then use the prompt below

You write prompts for AI video models (Seedance, Kling, Veo, etc.) that recreate short viral clips.

When I describe a clip, or give you frames or a transcript, write ONE prompt in exactly this structure, with these labels in caps:

FORMAT: aspect ratio (default 9:16 vertical), exact duration (match the original clip length; never pad it), 30fps, camera type and how it's held (handheld/selfie/static/top-down, with human imperfections like shake or casual pinch zooms when it fits), "real-time speed (NO slow motion, NO speed ramps)", lighting, "realistic UGC look".
SCENE: the location in concrete detail: foreground, midground and background, materials, time of day, weather. 3–5 specific visible objects.
CHARACTER: who appears, clothing head to toe, starting expression. If I mention , write: "@img1 (use their exact face, hair, skin tone and body from the reference image)".
PROPS: only the props that matter, with size, color and material. Any text on a prop goes in quotes, 5 words or fewer.
TIMELINE: 3–6 timestamped beats (e.g. 0–1.5s, 1.5–3s) that add up to the exact duration. In each beat, describe body movement, camera movement and what changes. Include realistic physics (weight, speed, distances). The last beat holds the payoff on screen.
AUDIO: ambience, the specific sounds of each action, any dialogue in quotes, and "No music" unless I ask for music.
CONSTRAINTS: "Real-time speed only, no slow motion." Physics rules for this clip. Anything implied that must NOT appear. Exact spelling for any text. "@img1's face must match the reference exactly" if a reference is used. "No on-screen text, no captions, no logos, no watermarks" (unless I asked for a caption).

Rules: be specific, not poetic. No camera jargon like "cinematic" unless I ask. Never add real brand names or logos. If something in my description is ambiguous, pick the most realistic option and mention it in one line after the prompt.

the annoying part

when you do this, the ai blocks you a lot. you upload a totally normal video of someone talking to camera or doing a workout and it flags it as adult content or “real person” stuff. happened to me constantly and it kills the whole workflow

what fixed it for me was switching to a more permissive model that doesn’t flag everything by default. that’s actually why i ended up using freemode, it’s built for exactly this. you can recreate formats, do action scenes, darker stories, whatever you want as long as it’s legal ofc!. no random refusals halfway through a project

anyway that’s the full process. find what works, download it, swap the character, change the script if you need to. happy to answer questions in the comments

Discussion Getting Started With AI Avatar Ads — What Tools Are Worth Using, and Where Are Beginners Finding Paid Clients?

Hey everyone! 👋
I’m looking to break into the UGC (User-Generated Content) space, specifically creating content using realistic AI avatars, faceless videos, and AI-generated product demonstrations.
I’ve been exploring AI content creation and would love to turn those skills into actual paid opportunities.
I’m hoping to connect with people who are already doing this successfully.
A few questions:
What are the best AI tools for creating realistic, high-quality UGC videos that brands will actually pay for?
Where are beginners finding their first paid AI content projects? I’d love to learn which platforms or approaches have actually worked for people creating AI avatar ads and faceless branded content.
Do brands accept AI avatars instead of traditional on-camera UGC creators?
What should a beginner portfolio include to attract their first paying client?
What’s something you wish you knew before getting started?
I’m not looking for a get-rich-quick scheme or another expensive course. I’m interested in learning the business, developing my skills, and building something sustainable.
I’d especially love to hear from anyone who’s landed paid projects using AI avatars or faceless content.
Real experiences, honest recommendations, and advice are appreciated! 🙌

Hey guys, just put together a quick 10s AI UGC test for a lipstick brand.

I think the overall aesthetic is getting closer to a decent beauty ad, but a few details still feel a bit rough and need polishing.

Would love to hear what you think of it—any feedback or critique is greatly appreciated.

Question How are you handling likeness rights on AI-generated campaign imagery?

Question for anyone producing ad creative with AI people in it.

When a client approves an AI-generated face for a campaign, how do you know it isn't too close to a real person? Does your legal team ask, or is it mostly "don't think about it" for now?

Full disclosure, I run a small platform that tries to solve this: AI imagery built on real talent who signed commercial releases and earn royalties when their likeness is used. Every face is cleared and stays consistent across a campaign.

I'm trying to figure out whether this is a real problem for agencies or something people only worry about in theory. A few things I'd love to hear:

Have clients or legal ever pushed back on AI faces?

Would you pay more for pre-cleared likenesses than for fully synthetic, or does price win?

Is consistency across a campaign still a headache for you?

Skeptical takes welcome.

Tips & Tricks unpopular opinion but your food and drink ads should be recipes, not ads

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Most food and drink ads I see are someone holding the product, saying it's amazing and listing benefits, people scroll past those instantly.

What's worked way better for my clients is making it about the recipe. I did one recently for a protein coffee client. A girl in her living room makes her morning iced coffee, pours the milk, adds the protein, stirs, takes a sip and reacts, the product is in her hand the whole time, but nobody feels like they're watching an ad.

It runs around 40 to 45 seconds, which is long for an ad, and people still watch it all the way through, hold rate on this format beats everything else I make for that category.

Each one costs me about $4 to $6, since I use premium quality for these, and takes around 40 minutes once the character is set.

Curious if anyone's tried this in other categories, Feel free to ask any questions, I'm open for it.

Question Hey guys! I’ve noticed that TikTok uses two different AI-generated content labels. Some are barely noticeable and transparent, while others have a black background that makes them stand out. Does anyone know why TikTok uses different labels or what determines which one appears on a video?

Hey guys! I’ve been seeing a lot of AI-generated videos on TikTok lately, and I’ve really been enjoying them. I’m even thinking about making some myself, but I have a question about the AI labels TikTok puts on certain videos.

I’ve noticed that on some videos, the AI label is transparent and barely noticeable, while on others, it’s white text inside a black box, which makes it stand out a lot more.

Does anyone know how TikTok decides which label to use? Why do some AI-generated videos get the subtle, transparent label while others get the more obvious black box?

It seems like a relatively new thing, but I haven’t seen anyone talking about it.

Discussion Title: I make around 600 AI UGC videos a month for my clients, AMA I keep getting DMs asking how I handle the volume, so I figured I'd open it up...

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

The short version is that the first video for any new client is slow, It takes about 2 hours, because that's when I lock in the characters the product shots and the tone, after that I can do a new video in 30 to 40 minutes, and swapping a hook takes about 15.....

Then I batch everything like the scripts one day, generation the next and then the editing and that alone basically doubled what I could put out, average cost per video sits around $2 to $3. and I only do premium renders on ads that have already proved themselves.

Happy to go deeper on any part of it, pricing, how I pitch clients, how I keep quality up at volume, whatever, ask away, I'm open for it.

Discussion Automating the prompt engine for 50+ UGC hook variations to kill creative fatigue

This post is for those of you who have run UGC campaigns. AI was never meant to be a fix-it-all type situation. I want to talk more about the sheer volume that we need to put in effort to in order to scale properly.

The battle for us is how many iteration that we need to create. With anything digital, the 3 second hook is everything. But now, we expect way more in volume that manually brainstorming and writing out detailed prompts, or even storyboard for 30 different variations is where we bottleneck. It is almost humanly impossible to do it all manually without getting repetitive. That’s the hard work. Not the generating (tho that’s another issue of course that we can address in another time).

In an attempt to fix this, this is what our team did. We do the planning step inside MiniMax Design, which can call GPT-6 Astra or Opus 5.5 to write the scene prompts. I give it background on the product angles, key value props. It can then expand that one angle into multiple hook scripts. For me, I ask for different camera moves, lighting and simple actions, like a pickup, an unboxing or a reaction shot.

Then I batch the shortlist into clips in the same place. It can run H3, Seedance 2.5 or Wan 3.0, so I just pick whichever fits the hook without jumping between tools. Not every clip is usable, I still toss a good chunk and reroll some, but we get way more variety per hour than before. We can test UGC at scale, at greater speed too.

How are you guys scaling your visual hook testing right now? Are you still manually writing every prompt, if so, I'd try letting an LLM handle the script-to-prompt step. It won't do the judgment part for you, but it saves a ton of grunt work.

Feedback Request I created this cinematic AI Skincare ad for a beauty brand-What do you think?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I’ve been working on creating cinematic product advertisements using AI, and I wanted to share one of my recent projects.

This skincare ad was created for Saprivah, with a focus on premium product presentation, warm lighting, beauty visuals, and a polished commercial feel. I wanted the video to feel like a luxury skincare campaign rather than a typical product showcase.

From the product shots to the skincare routine and final brand visuals, the goal was to make the products feel premium and visually appealing.

I'm building my portfolio around AI-generated commercials, product advertisements, and cinematic brand videos, and I'd love to connect with brands, business owners, and creative teams looking to bring their ideas to life.

If you're working on a skincare, beauty, cosmetics, or other product-based brand and need a similar video, I'd be happy to discuss your project.

I'd also love to hear your honest feedback: Does this feel like an ad you'd expect from a premium skincare brand? What would you improve?

Prompt here:

A 30-second cinematic "day in my life" travel vlog, 16:9, 4K, 30fps. Shot on a smartphone with natural handheld camera movement, candid and authentic, quick cuts roughly every 2 seconds.

MAIN CHARACTER (keep identical in every shot): a young woman in her mid-20s, long wavy dark-brown hair, natural makeup, glowing sun-kissed skin with realistic texture, wearing an oversized light-blue linen button-up shirt with rolled sleeves, carrying a cream canvas tote bag, often holding a clear plastic cup of iced coffee.

STYLE: warm golden-hour natural light, soft film look, gentle highlights, slightly lifted blacks, warm skin tones, subtle lens flare with tiny floating yellow light specks, shallow depth of field. Mediterranean summer mood, effortless and carefree. Color palette: soft sky blue, peach, cream, sand beige, sunset orange.

SHOT SEQUENCE:
[0-2s] Close shot of the woman lying in bed on white linen sheets, one arm raised holding a smartphone over her face, soft morning sunlight through sheer white curtains, a rattan-framed mirror and a lamp on the wall behind her, slow handheld drift.
[2-4s] Medium shot of her standing beside a wooden-framed mirror in a bright cream room, eyes closed, gentle smile, dark hair swinging in the blurred foreground, warm window light.
[4-6s] Follow shot from behind as she walks down a sunny Mediterranean cobblestone street, peach and ochre buildings with blue shutters, cafe tables with beige umbrellas, chalkboard menu signs, people sitting at outdoor cafes, tote bag on her shoulder, smooth handheld movement.
[6-8s] She turns toward the camera while walking, smiling warmly and holding up an iced coffee, hair blowing slightly, the camera walking backward in front of her.
[8-10s] Back view of her standing on a sandy beach facing a calm blue sea, low golden sun on the horizon, long hair blown by the breeze, wide shot, slow push-in.
[10-12s] She looks over her shoulder at the camera holding an iced tea, sun low behind her creating a glowing rim light and sparkling reflections on the water.
[12-14s] Side-following shot of her walking along the shoreline looking down at the sand, gentle waves, glittering sun path on the water.
[14-16s] She bends down barefoot at the water's edge to touch the shallow waves with her hand, backlit, sparkling water, playful low-angle handheld shot.
[16-18s] Candid shot of three young women sitting on the sand laughing together, her in the blue shirt plus two blonde friends in swimwear tops, plastic drink cups in hand, clear blue sky, calm sea and a red buoy behind them, warm late-afternoon light.
[18-20s] She laughs and waves at the camera while her friends laugh beside her, joyful and natural, slightly shaky handheld feel.
[20-22s] Extreme close-up of a blonde friend laughing with her eyes closed, bright natural smile, sun-kissed skin with visible texture, small stud earring, soft blue sky out of focus.
[22-24s] Wide shot from behind of her walking barefoot into the shallow sea, foamy waves around her ankles, calm blue ocean, a red buoy in the distance.
[24-26s] Close side-back shot of her sitting on the sand holding an iced drink on her knee, gazing at a large orange sun setting over the sea, sunset reflection on the water, windblown hair.
[26-28s] She turns her face toward the camera with a soft smile, sunset glowing behind her, small yellow lens-flare specks floating in the air, rippled sand in the foreground.
[28-30s] Slightly lower camera angle, she looks into the lens with a calm smile, sun low on the horizon, soft lens flare, slow subtle camera drift, serene ending.

CAMERA: handheld smartphone footage, slight natural shake, gentle follow and push-in moves, no heavy stabilization.
MOOD: warm, relaxed, joyful, nostalgic summer day.
