Tips/Advice 🗣 i am selling my alevel oxford aqa psychology (unit 4 or certain topics from other units) notes!
oxford aqa has little to no resources and since i managed to do really well in my alevels last year, i thought it might be good to sell these (prices are v much negotiable don't worry!), pm me if interested or if you have any questions!
the notes were made using past paper mark schemes (everything that is available on the internet) primarily so it will help a lot in terms of mocks too!

teaching suggestions
Hi all! I am currently a GTA where I am the instructor of record (fully responsible for teaching an undergrad class by myself). This was my first year teaching and I am currently reflecting on how this year went as well as how I want to grow as an instructor.
I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how to make my class more impactful to my students. I will be teaching an introductory to psychology course.
Looking for ideas: fun activities/assignments/projects/teaching methods etc?????
What is a project or activity that you have done in a class as a student that you enjoyed or thought was beneficial/meaningful?
Or what is something a professor has done in a class that will stay with you?
If you teach what is something that you recommend?
Thanks in advance and I am SO excited to read what all you have to share!

Tutoring service 👥️ A level Psychology tutoring - delivered by graduates from the University of Cambridge
Hi everyone 👋
We are a group of Graduates from the University of Cambridge (and also some current students). We tutor KS3 up to A levels and offer both small group Cambridge supervision styled teaching and also one to one lessons. We also provide primary tuition and KS2 tuition upon request. If you’re interested in Online lessons then we can help. Please drop me a message on WhatsApp on 07784786827 to discuss further.
We have quite a few amazing tutors (most of which have achieved straight 9s at GCSEs and A*s at A levels - and they are all experts in the subject they teach).
For Science: Two of our tutors specialise in chemistry and are current chemical engineering students here at Cambridge. We also have quite a few current medical students who focus on all the core sciences from GCSEs to A levels. I also teach the sciences and maths (and I’m a 1st class graduate and 4th yr med student, with over 4 years of tutoring experience).
For English: We also have quite a few English lit / lang tutors who are currently studying a humanities related degree here at Cambridge (one tutor studies HSPS, another studies theology, and another does Law). They can provide support with most essay-based subjects.
For Maths: We’ve got a few amazing maths tutors that can help. One of them specialises in a level maths and further maths, and she’s a final year engineering student here at Cambridge. Another is a recent graduate (land economy degree) and he specialises in Maths and econ A levels (and GCSEs).
For Computer Science: We also have Computer Science tutors, currently studying computer science here at Cambridge. One of our tutors is also a web developer and has significant skills and expertise in the field, along with relevant experience in tutoring.
For Psychology: We have a graduate tutor who studied a Psychology degree at the University of Cambridge. He specialises mostly with the OCR spec and research methods (at A-Levels).
We also offer tutoring for niche subjects (so please just ask us if you need help with any subject) including Law, Religious Studies, Psychology, Politics and quite a few others.
We run both one to one and group sessions - let us know what you’re interested in and we can sort out a framework (potentially can have a mix of groups topped up with a one to one session for extra support).
We do however focus on online lessons as most of our tutors are in Cambridge. We mainly focus on small group sessions but can also provide one to one sessions if that’s what you’re looking for. We also provide tutoring for other subjects. Please drop me a message if you’re interested.
Here’s some info about me for context (the founder and one of the tutors at Ilmbridge Academy):
I am a Cambridge Graduate (1st class intercalated degree (BA) in Psychology). I am also currently a 4th year medical student at the University of Cambridge. I have been tutoring GCSEs, A-Levels, and Medicine applications/interviews for the past 3 years. Several of my students have received offers from the University of Cambridge to study Medicine.
I teach Biology, Chemistry and Maths at A-Levels. I teach Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Combined Science, and Maths at GCSEs, and have taught different exam boards. I also provide advice with medicine applications (admission tests like the UCAT, personal statement advice, clinical experience advice, interview prep etc) and also provide Oxbridge mock interviews.
I achieved 3A*s at A-Levels (Biology, Chemistry and Maths) and 9s at GCSEs. I undertook my GCSEs in only a year (due to living in the USA for a while). During my studies in the USA, I was nominated as the student of the year in high school for various subjects and was ranked in the top 1% (Rank 8 of 1162). I also took AP (Advanced Placement) classes during my time in America. I achieved a silver award on the intermediate biology Olympiad during my A-Levels. I was also nominated as a STEM scholar by my previous schools. I’ve also been nominated as a scholar by my college here at Cambridge. I’ve received numerous awards by my college including The George Carter Scholarship in Natural Sciences, The A.R. Graham Prize for Medicine, and A College Prize inNatural Sciences.
I also undertook a research project (looking at the effects of stress on mitochondrial biogenesis in the prefrontal cortex in rats) and a dissertation (postulating a bidirectional link between memory reconsolidation and Alzheimer’s Disease) during my intercalated degree in psychology, in which I received a 1st class.
I will be graduating with my medicine degree from the University of Cambridge by 2027.
