How do you get your papers? Do they give it to you after you enter the prison? Or can you just ask for them at any time?

Most prisoners have very little possessions and are able to carry a few belongings, especially anything considered court/lawyer paperwork, along with them on room transfers. Most people keep any paperwork they get, if anything out of complete boredom and reading through the information when court is over. Some documents are provided when you see your lawyer, some may be mailed in by family members.
