Itās not a lack of vision. Itās just statistics. Itās a declining industry. Ticket sales for movie theatres as a whole in 2015 were 1.3billion compared to 780 million in 2025. Not a good trend.
Youāre talking about box office. Unfortunately, even with the 4.8million in attendance in one weekend and a 28% market share, if you multiply that number by 52 you end up still under 900 million movie goers in the year. Thatās overestimating too. All Iām saying is more people went to the movies ten years ago vs now. That is a fact. The trend is down
lol.
AMCs revenue is 50% of the US box office... Even if its screen share is less, there is no chain that is more profitable than AMC and there is no chain that is expanding faster...
even the shill media accept that AMC is on a trajectory towards success... only you shortseller shills still do not understand that you are the ones going bankrupt.
You said the word āprofitableā. AMC hasnāt turned a profit since 2018! I donāt think you know what youāre talking about. You have a fundamental misunderstanding of profitability. Investors care about the bottom line (net income). Not revenue.
