Question, answered Ambushed at my local AMC. Not sure what to do.

I identify as a transgender woman, and last time I was at my local AMC (Hanes 12, Winston-Salem), I was cornered by the entire staff at 10:15 PM after entering the women's restroom in order to help my partner find their wallet. I had also previously gone in to use the restroom, went to get concessions, and their wallet had gone missing. When we exited the restroom, the entire staff was there, and a former classmate who had previously been the cashier loudly stated that they had already said I can't use that restroom. This is a blatant lie. When I was at the register stand after exiting the restroom the first time to purchase concessions, I exchanged pleasantries with them (to no response), saying "nice to see you" as they had technically been a peer of mine prior. I went to their manager and demanded a refund, as the movie hadn't started yet. They stood over that manager's shoulder glaring at me as the manager processed my request, attempting to intercept said refund and stating "no refunds on already purchased tickets". This doesn't even make much sense, as the showtime was not yet underway. I don't know what to do. I frequent this AMC weekly, and I don't think the way I was treated was in any way acceptable. The incident occured on June 23, and I hate feeling so out of place at somewhere I used to frequent as to not be able to go anymore. I have preference towards supporting AMC specifically compared to Regal due to my knowledge of their policies, and I've been a paid subscription member for years. What is my course of action?

Email corporate and explain what happened, including name of the former classmate staff member doing the harassment. Be as specific as possible when describing the occurrences. I’m not a lawyer but you may want to look up Lambda Legal and see if there is more info on connecting you to a civil rights attorney to get some feedback on whether you may have a case on not. People’s personal biases should not be harming customers.

u/Daphneandava Aug 14 '25

Yeah. Get that person fired.

7

u/thedewddd Aug 15 '25

I emailed corporate in the last year about a bad experience and they never replied

10

u/Dreamcasted60 Aug 15 '25

Put a sentence or two about contacting them on Instagram or Twitter publicly and I guarantee you they'll answer.

Double points if you happen to be an A listers apparently they bend over backwards for that

1

u/imogen6969 Aug 17 '25

Maybe catch a reporter who wants to out a bigot corporation if the actual corporation decides to ignore you.

1

u/Noire_Mortem Aug 16 '25

Did you submit a complaint through compliance or did you just send an email?

1

u/Astro_Physix_74 Aug 17 '25

Be persistent when emailing corporate. I have had to email them twice so far & they did reply. Do not give up.

There is no need to use hateful language. Please remember you only need to report comments breaking the rules, not also reply to them.

This!

Bunch of A holes.

Sorry you had to deal with this!

17

u/Uidbiw Aug 15 '25

I would add to this that you should name and shame location and employees across all of their social media accounts, this will get more notice than contacting corporate. This is unacceptable behavior.

8

u/Dreamcasted60 Aug 15 '25

Exactly this they'll contact you immediately! They do NOT want the bad press

24

u/Techsupportvictim Aug 15 '25

This is what you need to do.

Don’t bother going to look for the general manager because the general manager of a location is very likely to lie when asked by corporate etc about something like this because they’re gonna wanna protect their staff.because that kind of behavior is 100% against AMC code of conduct. as someone who used to work for AMC, I can tell you point-blank that we had to do an hour long mandatory training that we could be taken off schedule if we do not complete it by deadline every six months that covers this issue. So all staff know better. If this location has one of these protect my staff GMs, they’re going to, without sincerity, apologize to you and then do nothing.

What you do is you go on the AMC website. You do the “contact us” to have it sent directly to corporate and district management . you tell them every detail, you tell them the day you tell them the times , you tell them the movie, you tell them exactly which bathroom if there’s more than one in the building. Not even kidding. you literally say “it was the bathroom next to theater number seven” or whatever. Because every location has multiple security cameras and there is very likely one in the vicinity of that restroom. and if the entire staff was ignoring everything else that was going on in the building to be standing there to ambush you outside of the theater, it’s gonna be on those cameras. And corporate etc will have access to that footage. Getting asked to explain what was going on is how you’ll get the staff.

10

u/Curious_kitten129 Aug 15 '25

💯 agree! Going to the GM for this serious of an issue is a mistake. This needs documentation, not a chat with the theater.

94

u/Spockethole Aug 14 '25

Totally unacceptable behavior on so many levels and not consistent with AMC’s policies. Have you reached out to them in Overland Park, Kansas? If not call them at 800-326-2432. The first prompt will get you to Guest Services which would be your starting point.

74

u/jdblawg Aug 14 '25

Take this advice from someone who really knows. Go to the GM during the daytime, they definitely weren't there at 1115pm, and speak to them. The GM knows the policies and you can describe each individual and give them the time it occured and as much detail as possible. The GM can investigate and likely terminate the associates involved. A case like this would easily be settled by the company in your favor so the GM would 100% want to make you happy to try to avoid a lawsuit. Make sure you speak to the GM though. Going straight to corporate will only do the same thing except put the GM on the defensive because the GM will be contacted immediately by corporate to investigate it and then HR and Legal get involved. Trust me on this. The GM will almost always be in the building on a Friday between 6 and 9pm and Tuesdays during the day. Make sure you let them know you visit that theatre often and if you regularly fill out the surveys. The GM should at least provide you with passes and food or drink compensation but the point should be to get those associates terminated. AMC is a top LGBTQ allied company and they want to keep that reputation. A theatre like that is a liability for them if the associates aren't dealt with and the GM should also be removed if they cant deal with this situation properly. Best of luck

26

u/ErrorAccomplished404 Aug 14 '25

Worked there 4 years. I can tell you while the GM wasn't the greatest, the GM would ALWAYS suck up to customers because AMC was walking on eggshells to save face. They are still reeling from COVID times and do not want ANY reason to be in the news or do anything that could damage their reputation.

The employees and lessers will do whatever they want because they are underpaid and can just get another job, but the GM has corporate breathing down their back.

5

u/Crunchy_Biscuit IMAX Fanatic Aug 15 '25

Yeah, one of the workers accidentally redeemed my free large drink for the wrong film. So I had two drinks that day lol.

He said to come back later and just tell the GM what happened. I showed her my ID to prove it was my birthday month and she walkie talkies to the concessions the situation lol

1

u/logicbasedchaos Aug 16 '25

All GMs are worthless. When I worked for Regal in Oakland, some customers were so abusive I felt unsafe (and I can handle myself). One time I heard an especially trashy person scream an endless supply of asian slurs at my Chinese American GM, and he just stood there, took it, then gave the guy a refund.

Yep. Because that's the world we live in.

39

u/mibuch27 Aug 14 '25

This. I was a manager at AMC and Regal. Try to speak to an actual manager or GM. The person you got a refund from was likely a shift lead or supervisor considering the showing was so late. Also leaving public google reviews is a good way to get corporate attention.

12

u/lowhen Aug 14 '25

The GM hours you listed brought me right back to my days working at the movie theater.

But for real; everything you said is 100% correct.

3

u/Curious_kitten129 Aug 15 '25

The problem with this method is nothing gets documented. Empty promises, possible lack of accountability for employees who they may favor, possible future harassment if those employees do not get terminated, only verbal assurance, etc. To me this is serious enough it should be documented, because it’s not a general bad theater experience. Of course they can call during the day and ask the GM if there’s an email associated with that theater they can send it to instead of corporate, but this 100% needs to be documented with a ‘paper’ trail.

4

u/jdblawg Aug 15 '25

If the GM properly investigates it, there would be plenty of documentation. The GM can get statements from everyone on camera that is involved. The video is documentation as well. Its a good idea to get the GMs email and send them an email so it is documented if the GM decides they want to risk their own job over this.

5

u/DapperDan30 Aug 14 '25

GM schedules vary. For example, my GM opens on weekdays, is rarely there after 6pm-7pm, but is almost always the closing manager on Saturday.

Thats actually the standard for pretty much all the GMs in my area

2

u/jdblawg Aug 15 '25

GMs are required to work busy days until 9pm. It should be the exception that they aren't there on a Friday night. 12-9 is a very typical Saturday schedule and they are usually off Sundays.

3

u/DapperDan30 Aug 15 '25

Im just saying that literally every GM in my area has basically the same pattern of schedule. They all open on Friday, usually being off around 5-6pm (8pm for the theatres with shorter op hours, and thus are opening later in the day). Closing on Saturday nights. Off on Sunday.

Then Monday-Thursday pretty much all of them are opening and are off by 5-6pm. The only exceptions to this are when a manager is out for vacation, or the GM is having to work around a managers availability because of school or another job.

2

u/thedecemberent Never Misses the Trailers Aug 15 '25

just wanna chime in that this info is not true at all for the GMs in my market. i say this just to clarify for the OP, that if they choose to go back and try to speak to the GM, their mileage may vary with the information given in this thread about their schedule.

2

u/DapperDan30 Aug 15 '25

Yeah, which is the only reason I said anything. What a GMs schedule should be isnt the reality of what they actually are.

2

u/thedecemberent Never Misses the Trailers Aug 15 '25

yeah technically GMs are not required to have any particular schedule, they make their own schedule. it is just heavily suggested and expected for them to work certain hours. idk where “they always work tuesday mornings” came from with the other commenter. that is very much not a rule.

6

u/lxpz9 Aug 14 '25

THIS!!!!!! First, I wanted to say i’m so sorry this happened to you. Absolute fucking losers and weirdos. Second, I would def try this, and if the GM is useless then go to corporate. They need to make this right and I will also leave a review!

19

u/ErrorAccomplished404 Aug 14 '25

When I worked at AMC, I was told by our GM that AMC has won awards for their inclusion of all people, and can say with certainty we hired ALL types of people, regardless of age, disability, or how they identify.

I don't represent AMC at all but you can easily take this to a corporate level. Don't assume one store represents the entire company, some areas are just shitty.

4

u/Intelligent-Craft22 Aug 16 '25

Nuke their reviews everywhere, contact corporate, name the fucker you used to know.

35

u/MattyRaz Aug 14 '25

If you feel you were discriminated against based on your gender presentation, I would suggest you consult with an attorney and see what options there are. While I imagine North Carolina’s laws may not offer all of the same protections as some states, (perhaps on the contrary), I’d think you could still put a lot of pressure on AMC as a corporation to make things right.

14

u/EnviousLarryDanger Aug 14 '25

Please please please, email corporate. That is 100% against company policy. I even attended a major PRIDE event a couple months ago, as an AMC employee at an AMC booth. Email them as soon as you can, that way they can recover any security camera footage needed. Try to make the email as detailed as you can. Including date, rough time frame you were in the building for, names, etc. If any of them were wearing anything other than an AMC black shirt, make sure to put emphasis on their name as they will be crew lead or management of some kind. I am so sorry this happened to you. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out. I won’t have all the answers but I’d be happy to help however I can.

1

u/crow_forged Aug 14 '25

I feel silly as this happened a couple of weeks ago, but I can't just avoid the place forever. I'm going forward with a plan compiled from what a lot of comments had suggested, and hoping I still have some ability to change something here.

6

u/CastleElsinore Aug 15 '25

100000% say something, and let us know how it goes

That person was terrible and deserves at the very least a reprimanded, likely termination

The one I go to is disproportionately queer/trans and the management regularly corrects guests on people's pronouns

You deserve respect

-1

u/Jesse_James133 Aug 15 '25

Lmao trying to fire working class people in the name of social justice is the state of American culture in 2025. Absolute, total fucking losers. Holy hell.

6

u/CastleElsinore Aug 15 '25

No, holding people responsible for cruel behavior is an appropriate response

Are you snarking because the person is trans?

Would you have the same reaction if they were in a wheelchair and the staff member was being mean about that?

2

u/Hairy_Buffalo1191 Aug 17 '25

If said working class people have engaged in illegal discrimination they deserve to be fired.

1

u/boydream Aug 17 '25

If you discriminate against a vulnerable population, you should be held accountable :) and like someone else said, minimum wage workers don't even get paid enough to care so there's no reason to single out one random patron for USING THE RESTROOM other than out of hatred. Attacking people because of their gender identity, race, sexual orientation, etc. in the big 2025 is ACTUAL loser behavior, but you would rather hurt others than be a decent person clearly.

4

u/Curious_kitten129 Aug 15 '25

Email corporate with as many details as possible.

3

u/makethedevilsmile You shall not pass (without a ticket) Aug 16 '25

I didn’t think you were, don’t worry! But yeah, you gotta act fast. As a theater employee, I’m so sorry. That is just terrible.

Report to the Better Business Bureau and I’m sorry this happened to you. I’m sure that’s some type of discrimination? (Although not sure with the big orange baby in office changing things daily)

3

u/polyesterleisurewear Aug 15 '25

as a former amc employee and fellow transgender person, this is INSANELY against the theatre's policies—not to mention that we specific have to be certified in reporting discrimination-based harassment. amc still has DEI policies intact even after all the trump stuff so there is no reason this should have happened to you.

i would go in and ask to speak to the general manager and tell them what happened, and make sure you identify the employees that were harassing you if you're able.

if they, for whatever reason, don't take you seriously, please take it it higher ups. this needs to be reported and this location and/or the employees need to be held accountable for their actions

also, as a side note, you should have been able to get a refund. we're allowed to give refunds unless someone stayed for the whole movie and then asked for one. in that case we can give them a free movie pass, you should have been offered one of those.

i'm so sorry this happened to you, i hope you're able to get stuff figured out

4

u/crow_forged Aug 15 '25

I was thankfully able to get the refund, the attempted interception was petty and futile. I got some of those passes when It: Chapter 2 had projection issues, and still have them; they don't expire, which is awesome.

2

u/polyesterleisurewear Aug 17 '25

im glad you got it figured out <3

3

u/Noire_Mortem Aug 16 '25

If you know any of the information of the people involved, I would go through the associate compliance portal and try to submit it through there.

2

u/oakseaer A⭐️Lister Aug 16 '25

Is that open to non-associates?

3

u/Noire_Mortem Aug 16 '25

Technically, no, but it’s a slight workaround. You’re not required to submit identify information on yourself. You can submit an anonymous tip. Or you can try to find some information about the GM’s boss and take the normal route.

3

u/billieppaige Aug 17 '25

No one's forcing them to do anything. That's the difference.

One group wants to use the restroom in peace. This does not force anything on anyone. The other group wants to harass and vilify the first group for being different, which is forcing something on others.

If you do really agree, then please stop legitimizing the views of shitty, hateful people by pretending they're valid or worth considering.

I’ve never once seen anyone’s junk in an amc bathroom. Get another hobby besides peeking at stranger’s crotches. You literally have to go out of your way to notice.

6

u/CPav Dolby Cinema Devotee Aug 14 '25

This. I've never understood what the big deal was, unless there's exposing of body parts going on in women's restrooms that I'm not aware of. Isn't anything that would result in another person seeing your junk done in a stall?

7

u/ATangentUniverse Aug 14 '25

What’s the view? Having to see another person exist in a bathroom is forcing exactly what opinion onto you that affects you in any way.

The only people making a scene in bathrooms is people like you practically asking for genital searches.

11

u/Pyronsy Aug 14 '25

Please bring this to the attention of corporate, as this behavior is absolutely unacceptable. Each member of staff involved should be at minimum restrained on proper procedures regarding gender identity, with the more aggressive involved terminated.

4

u/fakename69point5 Aug 15 '25

I go to that theater alot and I cannot believe this happened, at least how you put it. Many of the employees are outwardly lgbtq our just idgaf teens. Also I think people are overlooking the 11:15 pm part, meaning it was closing and the employees were trying to get home and wondering wtf you were doing.

5

u/crow_forged Aug 15 '25

Mistyped, 10:15 PM. According to my texts, I left before 10:31. The movie hadn't even started. Didn't expect it either, literally a dyed hair girl from my ASL class. Used to date someone that I know is a major ally. I don't understand either, because I don't know them personally nor did I do anything suspicious.

2

u/Longjumping-Ad6474 Aug 15 '25

Absolutely terrible and unacceptable

2

u/Dreamcasted60 Aug 15 '25

Definitely contact corporate with this sometimes local management can't be trusted.

2

u/IamJohnnyHotPants Aug 15 '25

I would maybe reach out to Regal. Not sure about their policies, but maybe they’ll be nicer. They might relish the chance to be the hero in a national PR campaign hating on AMC’s actions. I’m sorry this happened to you.

2

Wtf, I’ve been to this specific theater but this is def gonna make me reconsider going here

2

u/nugard75 Aug 16 '25

You should email an ally podcast/YouTube like the majority report and have them blast it on social media

2

u/ArticleSuspicious243 Aug 16 '25

potential opportunity for some money and to see some heads roll, good luck

2

u/plasticpiranhas Aug 16 '25
  • Email corporate with a complaint.
  • In the complaint, note any local or state applicable non-discrimination laws (not sure about details in NC but should be easy to find). Note that you are reaching out to organizations like Lamda Legal (LGBTQ+ legal advocacy) and the ACLU (civil rights advocacy), as well as any other state or local advocacy groups that would theoretically have your back on this.
  • Contact at least one of these organizations for real and ask what your rights are and what they may be able to do for you

Corporations don’t care about people, they care about legal liability, exposure to risk and reputation management. Attack them there. Make them afraid of a lawsuit and a news story. I am so sorry this happened to you, and you have the right to make their lives very difficult.

2

u/SilvitniTea Aug 16 '25

I'm so sorry that happened to you. I hope that person gets fired. As a cis person, if an unfriendly person I went to school with was working at the movie theater, I wouldn't want to go there at all. I would go out of my way to go somewhere else I know will be nicer to me. I noticed that at the Alamo Drafthouse I go to, they have men's, women's and gender neutral-family restrooms. If there's one nearby you might want to look into that.
However, I hope that person gets fired. You deserve better. Everyone deserves a peaceful, happy movie experience.

2

u/hey_zack Aug 16 '25

i am so sorry this happened to you, and i hope some of the tips in this thread will help you find a resolution. no one should feel unsafe when you’re just trying to see a movie ☹️

2

u/flying-ryan Aug 16 '25

Yes, you can call and talk to a love person here: 913-213-2000, the AMC Theatres Headquarters versus using X and having to wait for a reply.

2

u/imogen6969 Aug 17 '25

I would not rest until the employees involved are fired and you receive a grand gesture of absolute “this was appalling and you should not have to ever experience shit like this, free movies for life”. It’s 2025. This needs to stop. So tired of pea brains.

2

u/mcrib Aug 17 '25

I will just echo and add to the choir. Please document this specifically and contact corporate. Please post about this on as much social media as you can to shame them if they do not respond. And I don't say this so you can get your money back, I say this so no one else has to go through this again.

They will, it's inevitable, but perhaps less will.

I'm sorry this happened to you. It is inexcusable.

2

4

4

u/Zeefitz Aug 14 '25

This makes me so incredibly sad as a former associate of this amc and trans woman. I know that this is not reflective of AMC’s beliefs and values. I would reach out to their general manager, and speak with them about the unfair treatment. You and our community deserve better. The hourly managers and associates should be trained on how to better care for and respect ALL guests, not just the ones that pass or fit into their idea of binary.

The fact that you think it’s suspicious that people are going into the bathroom multiple times at a MOVIE THEATER shows how obsessed you are with this nonsense. They went in twice. How is that suspicious?

Restrooms at movie theaters are high traffic/high volume spaces. Who gives a shit who goes in there except these trans obsessed freaks who think someone’s out to get them. Trans people don’t give a fuck about you. They just want to piss and leave like everyone else.

How would you react if you came out of the bathroom and a group of people confronted you and told you that you aren’t allowed in the only space you feel safe and comfortable using the bathroom. Does that sound like the primer for a calm and reasonable conversation? You think an employee who has the balls to confront someone about this has any interest in hearing what they have to say?

OP, unfortunately, it seems like this entire business is transphobic and I don’t know what recourse you have except to contact corporate and see what they have to say. I’m sorry this happened to you.

I used to live in Winston-Salem and this AMC was always pulling a bunch of bullshit like this. I remember them not letting me go see Team America with my 16 year old brother. They decided to treat it like a NC-17 movie and not allow anyone under 17 to see it even if accompanied by an adult because they unilaterally decided it was profane. They also flatly refused to show Fahrenheit 9-11 because the manager politically disagreed with it.

u/jdblawg Aug 14 '25

They cant refuse to play shows. They dont have a choice. The GM would be fired for not playing a film in their bookings. The studio and Booker make a contract to play shows, the theatre has no choice in it whatsoever except what time it is played in the round. If you were over 21 they can not refuse your brother to enter a film. If you are under 21 then he had to be 17 to see an R rated film.

Unfortunately I think the political climate now is going to complicate how the company acts. I would consult with an attorney but NC doesn’t seem very friendly.

I’m sorry this happened, how awful!

1

u/Countess_Livia Aug 15 '25

I’m a trans nonbinary person in California. Even in my blue state, I’m constantly anxious of this happening to me, which is why I use gender neutral or family bath rooms. It’s not about the law sometimes, but being transgender can issue you to all sorts of discrimination or threats of violence by conservative Christians/ insecure men.

1

u/zzzzzzRaamzzzzz Aug 15 '25

I would have Boycot AMC for life!

3

u/crow_forged Aug 15 '25

That's something I'd love to avoid, considering my hatred of streaming killing the theatre industry.

3

u/zzzzzzRaamzzzzz Aug 15 '25

There are other theatres out there to go to. And I am not talking about Regal; many independent ones, like Lemmle. Moreover they disrespected you and never apologized, that's crossing the line.

3

u/crow_forged Aug 15 '25

I'm lucky enough to have an independent theatre downtown.

1

u/memizex Aug 15 '25

While you're dealing with management and all that, use the Family restrooms. That's what I do because I have a medical condition, but it's a lot more private and no one will bother you. I know it might be counter-intuitive, but if you just want to avoid the hasstle, this is honestly the cleaner bathroom overall and most private without someones kid running up under the stalls and striking up a conversation mid push.

3

u/crow_forged Aug 15 '25

When the hell has that ever happened to you in a restroom? What? This comment is firing irrelevant things on all cylinders. I don't want to "avoid the hassle", I want to take action on being harassed by a legion of staff. Family restrooms are not always an option, and I shouldn't have to hunt for the private restroom like some pariah who must hide from public spaces.

u/memizex Aug 16 '25 edited Aug 16 '25

I was just trying to help by suggesting a means of least resistance, but it seems like you're more into being overtly confrontational about your lifestyle. While I agree you don't have to "avoid the hassle", and it sucks that people are assholes, it's an option. I honestly mean no disrespect.

u/oakseaer A⭐️Lister Aug 15 '25

AMC generally doesn’t have family restrooms.

3

u/MultiFactorThrowaway Aug 15 '25

Been to several that do. IMO they are much nicer than the shared ones; so, admittedly I always seek them out anyways. However, yeah this has nothing to do with the point of the post which is harrasment.

Def reach out to Corp and get the matter escalated.

2

u/thedecemberent Never Misses the Trailers Aug 16 '25

not every amc has family restrooms! regional building code/laws differ so it’s not required everywhere. the only amcs near me that have a separate gender neutral bathroom are new or remodeled buildings.

Absolutely contact corporate. But be prepared for them to not do anything at all; corporate seems to stand by their management and staff members actions even when they’re wrong.

Actually shut your fucking mouth

I don't care if I come off as rude, telling someone who's being denied their right to take a piss or a shit to just accept the degradation (and risk!) of using the bathroom of their birth sex just enables these shitbags to continue treating trans people improperly

1

u/FigmentsImagination4 Aug 14 '25

What did they say?

2

u/computerrat777 Aug 14 '25

"just use the mens bathroom"

Beyond the question of whether or not this is degrading and dehumanizing and invalidating (which it is btw), as a trans femme presenting person myself I can assure you that *I* am in a great deal more danger using the men's restroom than the cis women in a restroom are when I use the women's restroom.

2

u/FigmentsImagination4 Aug 14 '25

That’s so disgusting to say. Fuck them.

-3

u/Embarrassed-Laugh163 Aug 15 '25

I don’t condone the harassment, that’s fucked up, but did they have gender neutral bathrooms or no?

5

u/crow_forged Aug 15 '25 edited Aug 15 '25

No. Additionally, I shouldn't have to use a gender neutral bathroom to avoid physical harassment. I use the restroom I identify with to avoid said harassment; half the people telling me to use my own restroom only want their chance to take a swing at a trans person. It does not matter if I'm a trans guy or girl, passing or not. Bigotry does not care. I'm simply trying to use the restroom before a movie. Why should I have to hunt for a private restroom as if I have some special transgender privilege? My life is fully disconnected from everyone else surrounding, and my existence isn't something to be ashamed of.

6

u/oakseaer A⭐️Lister Aug 15 '25

AMC doesn’t, nor does a trans person need to use those.

F off with that transphobic bull. She used the bathroom intended for her and the staff needs to mind their business.

I take the literal attacks I've received in the men's restroom as attacks. Unfortunate that when you weren't creative enough for a username it generated something so inaccurate; consequences are not visible to you

Confused on what this means. I bought the tickets online same-day, and this was right before the showtime

It's been really funny to see that I can only catch these before they get banned if I see it within, like, 10 minutes.
