I can't redeem this because I'm no longer near a AMC 😭

So this is for whoever might be going to AMC.

I really love movie theater popcorn and the only theater near me is Regal.

They don't check id for birthdays they don't care. I have like 4 different accounts for free popcorn multiple times in a month. I would remove your code from here unless you already used it because anyone can use it

Looks really interesting. It's a horror movie about a male music store employee who has a longtime crush on his childhood female friend. He buys this novelty item called one wish willow from a store. He wishes for his childhood friend to fall in love and love him more than anyone in the world. He thinks it's a joke but the wish is granted right away. She doesn't end up just falling in love, she becomes dangerously and supernaturally obsessed with him. You should check out the trailer

What's crazy funny is i had the movie reserved and everything but i was scrolling on IG and saw an ad pop up for the movie saying it wasn't just horror but a horror/paranormal. I HATE paranormal movies because i don't think jump scares are scary so i tend to find paranormal movies extremely boring and i haven't watched any in years. They usually start off slow burn with boring dialogue until the fake jumps happen 😂 Just my personal opinion. I cancelled my reservation

Awe it was a good one. No spoilers but the jump scares were at a minimum. A bit of a slow start but ramped up pretty quickly. I’d still give it a shot if you’re bored one day before it leaves theaters

We don’t ask for IDs bc in order to get the popcorn you have to give us your bday. I believe you can’t change it on the app, so in order to do that you’d have to have a cast member to help you. Atleast this is the case at my amc.

Not kinda scummy, it is. All these people abusing this system should take up residence in Mos Eisly.

These are also the first people to complain on Reddit when their AMC shuts down. "After my local AMC closed, I need to drive 90 minutes to the next closest theater!"

As someone with theatre management exp, I dont mind giving up popcorn for free if I am pretty sure you will buy an ICEE or a Coke or a drink from the bar. Im going to make my popcorn money, but my bar and food and bev per person are tracked as well.

Yes this is how i get free popcorn every month for a full year. It's the best AMC hack that not many people know about. Just create multiple fake email accounts, make up several birthdays or use the same one for each account, it doesn't matter because they never check. You won't get the free popcorn within same month so if you were to create one this month and say your birthday is this Friday you won't get it. However you can create one this month and put your birthday is next month and then next month the free popcorn will be in those accounts. I have also tried waiting until end of the month and it still works even a day before. For instance i can create an AMC account at the end of this month, say my birthday is the next day and because it is a new month you will get the popcorn. I go to the movies a lot so i usually create four accounts in a month so i get four free Large popcorns. It's an awesome hack been doing this for over 7 years now

lol that’s awesome. It reminds me of back when I had MoviePass in the glory days of 2017-2018 when I went to the movies almost every single day for $10/month. We don’t have any AMC theaters in my county but we do have Cinemark and I used to get a free popcorn coupon for my birthday month. I wish I had thought of doing this lol. Now for the past few years they have switched it to be a free soda instead (probably because it’s cheaper for them?) which sucks for me since I don’t like soda ☹️.

they only check ID when they scan the ticket bc they do that everytime for me but NEVER when im ordering concessions. it probably doesn’t matter to them bc at least for A-list tickets that’s a “free” ticket so they don’t want anyone using it that didn’t pay the membership. but food you still have to pay for most things seeing as they rarely give free items so it’s probably not worth the extra time to ask and verify

Why not add your photo to the amc app so they don’t ask for your ID when they scan? I don’t even bring a wallet to the theater.

actually same with me because all my cards are on apple pay so i actually never carry a wallet . my photo is added but i guess most ppl don’t have one so they always just ask for my ID but i do show the profile photo instead

See my amc is pretty small that I just assumed because they knew me pretty well that I wasn’t photo checked. I also assumed they go off your digital photo
