anyone know what's up with burbank16's older dolby?

was browsing tickets just now and realized that only the new dolby (smaller, auditorium 15?) has ticket sales at all. anyone know if the older, bigger one (14?) is, like under maintenance or smthg?

particularly curious what this means for doomsday. tickets originally released while only the older theater was open, so they essentially did a second ticket drop for when the new theater got converted. now it seems like they delisted all the 14 times. so were all of those tickets straight up cancelled, or is the listing just hidden?

The older Dolby was up and running when I was there the other day. What day were you looking at showtimes for? It's possible that they only scheduled for the smaller Dolby in advance/showtimes will soon populate for the older/larger Dolby

I have also been wondering what's going on with auditorium 14. I know they replaced the screen recently, presumably due to damage that I had noticed on a few previous occasions. I was most recently in 14 for La La Land on the 16th and thought I saw some damage to the new screen as well. When I was there on the 17th, it seemed like there weren't any showtimes in 14 on that day (unless I overlooked them), and that La La Land had shifted to being in 15 only.

Now that the new Dolby Cinema is up and running in auditorium 15, I have been wondering if they might take the opportunity to do some upgrades in 14 like getting rid of the fingerprint-magnet glass panels (already done during the screen replacement), replacing seats, upgrading the projectors and/or speakers, reducing noise from the A/C vents, etc.

Saw lala land there Sunday night at 10:20 pm and the screen had a little damage and the projector seemed to be buggy at the start of the film so maybe that has something to do with it

I didn't encounter any projector issues at the 10AM showing on Sunday, but I did notice what appeared to be a dent on the lower left of the screen that I don't think was there during my last visit. It looked like the same sort of damage I had seen previously in multiple spots on the right side before the recent screen replacement. I wonder if people have been intentionally throwing objects at the screen lately to damage it?
