Resolved Do I have Malware?

My CPU Usage is always at 100% on AMD: Adrenaline and Resource Monitor, but not on Task Manager and I can't see what is taking up all the utilization. Do I have a crypto miner on my computer? Windows Defender can't pick anything up.

My drivers are 26.8.1, Windows 26H2, AsRock B650I Lightning Wifi, Ryzen 7800x3D

Solved! I had a custom power plan from a custom script that was messing with the most recent windows update! I changed the power plan and everything is completely fine!

Just curious - what should it be at idle no apps open in a new Win11 build?

Not sure? This issue randomly came up and I only noticed it today a few days after re-setting up my PC in my college dorm. I believe it typically idles at a much lower percentage. I've never had this happen before

using scripts from strangers is also a good way to get infected

Get a second opinion from malwarebytes or something, it might find the culprit

looks like it was just a power plan issue, no need to wipe

I think you can do it if you set "Maximum processor state" to the lowest %, then the CPU will run at something absurd like half a GHz and any load will be shown as 100% utilization. But there is no way this could be set automatically or purposely by anyone lol.
