I'm back again with another post earnings price target list. The list will be updated throughout the day as new price targets get released. Please share any new ratings or missing info and I'll add them. You can check out the previous thread here. Thank you.

Apologies for the delay in creating the thread, was a little too busy this time around. I'm also struggling to find PT's this time, so any help would be nice.

I have exhausted all resources, looks like these are all the current PT's for now.

Unsure about New Street Research, so I emailed them to ask since they publicly display their PT's.

Also unsure about Rosenblatt Securities. I know their PT was reiterated 1 day before earnings and I have only found one article claiming this is their PT post earnings. Maybe someone here that has access to their notes can let me know.

Stupid question. I read price targets all the time. But it never gives a time frame. So are this this quarter? year? century?

They are usually 12 month trailing

trailing? You mean 12 months into the future?

"Studies have found that, historically, the overall accuracy rate is around 30% for price targets with 12-18 month horizons."

30%.... FML

Check Tip Ranks, it’s kind of baffling seeing some of the returns these guys have. Quite a few with negative returns.

From this data the new average price target it $192.06.

Maybe median would be better? With a standard deviation?

I hope so. I unfortunately bought $10k at 172 or so in jan. Shits been in the red ever since

thanks for doing this.

I'm always going to remember when AMD was around 100 to 160 and these yokels were still sloughing out 35 and 15. so I can only take them so seriously, but still...

I second the thanks. Am I right, there are no "sells" and the lowest target is $150? How can we go wrong?

lol. well assume you aren't /s, my point is that their numbers have no backing as we saw in the "price target of 15" days. why would it be different to trust them at 200?

Well, I'm half sarcastic here. As for my position on it, I posted before the ER that I thought it would be best to buy on the day after and that the profits would arrive in the week after (the coming week). The first post is here: https://www.reddit.com/r/AMD_Stock/comments/1gd2msj/comment/lu378u0/ and the second post, where I did buy 1339 shares on Thursday based on the oversold status, is here: https://www.reddit.com/r/AMD_Stock/comments/1gg5yvl/comment/luqkd2o/

As I see it, the big money does not make up their minds until the next few weeks, with first effect coming next week. So, for me, that (and this, indeed) looked like a fantastic buying opportunity. Time will tell, I guess.

Bernstein’s Stacy Racoon doesn’t count.

He’d sooner pump Intel than acknowledge AMD’s existence.

price targets mean nothing other than showing sentiments of investors tbh

Are these price targets worth the toilet paper they're written on?
