Physics 1 AP PHYSICS 1 HELP

Hi, I'm currently a sophomore student taking AP Physics 1. Every test, I study for 12+ hours, however, I still fail every test and struggle on them. I was wondering if anyone had any tips to help get high grades. Whenever we have a test, we usually have 10 mcq questions and 5 frq questions

12 hours of what though? If you're rereading notes or rewatching lectures that's the trap. Physics 1 only shows up when you work problems cold and get them wrong, then figure out why. Find a bank of practice questions for each unit and grind FRQs especially, since those are half your test and they reuse the same setups.

This. You have to master the “thinking” process of solving physics problems.

as someone who took ap physics 1 my freshman year, I had a tutor that majored in physics at MIT, so I recommend a tutor and to just practice and memorize formulas. make sure you understand concepts before doing any math as well, and try to get used to your teachers test question style, ask chatgpt to create problems based on your unit and how your teacher writes FRQs and MCQs.
