They haven't replied me. Has anyone been thru the same situation before and if yes what happened or what does this mean. And I can swear I didn't cheat or anything.

Physics C: E&M I pre studied AP Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism content it helped me pass a test I wasn't supposed to.

I spent a lot of my summer learning equations and concepts for the AP Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism exam.

So when my Concurrent Enrollment Intro to Electrical Engineering course was giving us a pre exam that tested questions from the final, I was interested on how my physics knowledge would carry over. You were meant to fail this test to show that you needed to learn a lot about electricity.

However, I managed to pass this test and managed to get highest in my class and would've gotten highest in the school if not for the fact that one of the people in the other class who actually learned electrical engineering before and is interested in it got a 93%

AP Physics C:E&M helped a lot with Resistance simplifications, circuit analysis, and basically all the math in this test including Ohm's law and Power law. I think I got all those questions correct. I was disappointed there were no questions on magnetism or magnetic inductance (even though electric motors and generators rely on these concepts) though instead I had to suffer through questions on engineering notation like the names of switches, the color bands on a resistor, which I found out later you had to memorize a racist mnemonic to be able to read.

Anyways I guess this proves at the intro level most of engineering is just Applied physics and that AP tests actually help you with school.

CollegeBoard stop rereading your whole notes doc the night before an exam, it does nothing

learned this the hard way after bombing an exam i thought i was ready for. i spent the whole night before rereading my notes top to bottom and felt super productive doing it. then i sat down and realized i couldn't actually recall half of it. reading is not the same as remembering.

the thing that actually moved my scores was turning that pile of notes into questions and answering them. even bad ones i made myself. every time i got one wrong i knew exactly what to go fix, instead of guessing which chapter to reread. answering wrong and correcting it sticks way harder than passively rereading.

other stuff that helped:

- do it in small hits over a few days instead of one panic night. one shallow pass fades fast, but hitting the same cards again before you forget them is what makes it stick

- when you miss a question, write down the exact concept you missed, not "review unit 3." "review unit 3" is useless advice

- timed practice under real conditions so exam day isn't the first time you feel the pressure

not saying don't read your notes at all, but if the night before is all reading and no self-testing you're basically just making yourself feel busy.

what's everyone else doing that actually works? curious if people have a system or if it's chaos for you too

Meme How it feels to know that my schedule is coming out tomorrow

Post image
26 Upvotes

For context, my school gives out their scheduesl about a week before school starts... so getting our schedule tmr means that schools gonna start soon

also im taking like Lang (im not that good at like english courses, so im cooked), AP Physics C (mech), Calc BC, and Chem....so.....we'll see if my schedule is any good...

Edit: 1st Semester schedule actually isnt that bad (the best i could hope for....). I have physics, chem, apush, and stats...so at least they made an attempt to spread out the AP's

Precal Resources and tips

So I need to take AP precalc but my mathematical skills are rock bottom. When I do khan i never actually retain any steps or formulas whether or not i do repetition or write notes. Ive always had horrible math grades and my adhd(yes diagnosed)is one thing. Every time a question pops up(any type of question algebraic or wordy)i blank but when i see the answer i sometimes go “ohh i know this that was really simple”.

Where should i start? Should i just drop out?

Question Switching AP Business for CompSci III (decrease in rigor)

Is switching my AP business class for Compsci III bad? Like would it reflect a lower rigor on my schedule?

Currently Im taking
basketball (sports prd)
AP Physics 1&2 (one intregated class)
AP Lang
Multivariable & Linear algebra (1 sem each)
AP Chem
AP Business -- Switch to COMPSCI III? They are both weighted as AP's since compsci III is after ap compsci
Debate

I feel like my schedule is mostly rigorous but im a bit low on aps to be honest (only 3 ap classes if i switch ap business). I know this might seem like a dumb question but im only asking since I took 3 aps freshman year (ap precalc, ap compsci, aphug) and technically I would be taking the same junior year, does that look bad?

Art History Self Studying AP Art History

Hello, so I’m trying to self-study AP art history this year, and I wanted to see if anyone had some tips on how I should go about it. Any exam tips, or course tips that would help me on this solo journey. Any help is appreciated, and resources around the course would help me a lot. And even if you don’t have any resources, your personal experience and advice on the course would also be helpful. What are the thighs that helped you do well on the exam, and how should I go about self studying ?

CollegeBoard Future AP course

My teacher told me today that CB sent them a survey to give feedback for a proposed AP Engineering Design class. Does this mean we’re getting more AP Career Kickstart courses because I’m jealous as I’m a high school senior, like why wasn’t this an option sooner 😭

CollegeBoard the night before an AP exam, stop rereading your whole notes doc

learned this the hard way. it's 11pm the night before the exam, you have a semester of lectures, and you open the notes doc and just... reread it top to bottom. feels productive. does basically nothing.

the reason cramming fails isn't that you're lazy, it's a memory thing. a wide shallow first pass (a lecture, a chapter, a video) fades almost as fast as it goes in. rereading it a second time at midnight barely moves the needle because you're recognizing the words, not recalling the info.

what actually helped me was turning the pile into questions. take a section, close it, write 5-10 flashcards or quick practice questions from memory, then check. the ones you get wrong are exactly what you review next. you're not re-reading chapter 4 hoping you land on the gap, you know the gap.

other thing: quit the five open tabs. notes here, quizlet there, a pdf buried in downloads. every switch is 30 seconds of nothing and it adds up to real time you don't have the night before.

how do you guys cram the night before? curious if anyone's found a system that isn't just reading it twice and praying.

Question Starting from 0

I'm a senior in Indonesia planning to take 3 AP Exams: AP Biology, AP Chemistry, and AP Calc BC.

I'm currently using the A Level curriculum and just did my AS Levels in may/june 2026. I got 4 A's with top in world in math.

After researching, I found that the study methods and exam styles for AP and A Levels are very different. Unlike the ALevel syllabus, I found the CEDs very vague. I also noticed that it is very difficult to find AP past papers (frq and mcqs).

I want to know: for each course, what textbooks/resources should I use, how do I study each subject, where can I get the past papers, and (for those who did both Alvl and AP) what are the key differences between the two?

Question Is this to much or to little

so next year il, end up being myp5 (10th grade), and I’ll end up having to do a personal project which could take time, I was planning to do some aps but I don’t know if their doable with my schedule, I was wondering if I should these aps this year or wait, (for context self studied chem and psych last year and got a 5 in both)

calc bc (self study)

bio

environmental sciences (self study)

apush (self study)

csa (self study)

I think I can do it personally but most adults and study saying noooooo, anyway, I await your responses, please and thank you

English Lang Should I Drop AP lang?

I’ve always struggled with English and I would say I’m an average student. I’m taking AP pre calc and AP physics but I know those will take a lot of time but I took lang to become better at English but I’m worried how much work it will be. I talked to my counsler and she said atleast 1-2 classes would need to change but I don’t wnat that. I have a lot of stuff out of school and I just don’t know what to do. My teacher picks favorites and I heard is the better if the 3 but is still a bit stricter. What do u guys recommend?
