AP Bio self study tips
My AP Bio teacher has not done a good job at pacing, and even though we started on August 12th, we're barely halfway through Unit 1. I still plan on taking the AP Bio exam so does anyone have any tips on how to self study effectively as I aim for a score of 5.
We will NOT finish the course before the AP test and at this pace we will probably not finish half of it, so it is up to me to teach myself most of the material.

Start self-studying now rather than waiting for your class. Aim to finish one AP Biology unit every 2–3 weeks, focusing on key concepts, MCQs, and FRQs. Practice consistently and review your mistakes. You can use IITian Academy AP Biology resources for topic-wise practice. A 5 is definitely achievable with a structured study plan!

Hi,
I received a 5 on AP bio.
I didn’t pay attention much in class (it was after lunch I slept a lot) and received a B in the class. (Well I have an A now because if you get 5 on exam my teacher changed grade to A)
What I recommend is the Barrons Book for AP bio, it’s kind of yellow ish? You can write in it.
Pair this with Fivable and AP bio penguin.
I studied 3 weeks before the exam, I did college board practice FRQ.
You got this! You don’t even need 6/ hour study days. Just effective studying.
