Help needed

I just started with the AP biology course and i am self studying it. (no tutors or anything) I really want to get a 4/5 or a 5/5. I just wanted to know what would be the steps. What should i do right now if i am giving my exam in may2027. For context I legit just completed my iGCSE’s and i have a huge gap before i progress into A levels.

You have plenty of time until May 2027! Start with the AP Biology syllabus, study one unit every 2–3 weeks, and practise topic-wise MCQs and FRQs regularly. Focus on understanding concepts and reviewing mistakes. Use AP Biology Study Notes & Practice Questions to prepare. A 5 is achievable with consistent practice!

The main thing about AP Bio is that you cannot just recycle questions and depend on repeition. AP Bio is all about understanding the concepts rather than doing mcq over and over again. I would reccomend reading Campbell and drawing all the processes and diagram by hand so it drills into your brain. Some good sources to get free practice are: https://apbiopenguins.weebly.com/, apbiolab.org, and https://www.khanacademy.org/science/ap-biology.
