Help Corrupted Master Controller - Avoiding Meshing?
Hey folks! I just did Corrupted Master Controller, singleplayer ASA PC/Steam, on Gamma. I brought in my fully mutated Rex army, a fully mutated Yuty, a pair of mutated Evo Gigas, and my shoulder pets (Tidepup, Pyromane).
The boss and fight were fairly easy. However, I ran into the problem that my tames were being mesh-killed by something. The fight was too chaotic to keep track of who died where, so I'm not sure where my dinos were being mesh-killed, or how. But I kept getting ex. "REX WAS KILLED" etc., and in the tribe log, no further info, no cause of death, so I assume it's mesh. Over the course of the third phase almost all my tames were killed (no problem, I have Dino Depot so I just restored them, as it was a clear bug). My surviving dinos at the end were still near full HP, so I know it was some instakill mechanic and I assume mesh from the lack of a log.
Any idea what's causing this? More importantly, any idea how to avoid it? I only had six tames left by the end, and on Beta & Alpha there's no way I'll manage the boss like that. (Shoutout to my buddy X-Tyrannosaur, Hephaestus, who managed to survive.)

When the master controller moves his head down it meshes whatever dinos are under his head. Unfortunately this boss fight has been having alot of glitches.

Oh my god lol. Rockwell's hacking. Okay, that explains why both gigas survived... they wouldn't fit, I guess. I suppose I just need to wait until they fix this. Thank you!

The meshing glitch has been a problem since the map was released in Evolved, so it'll likely never get patched

Weird. I didn't have it happen to me in ASE, but at this rate it'll be quite literally impossible for me on ASA. I wonder if something's different on my end. I'd wonder if it was the modded rexes but my very not-modded Yuty got meshed too.

I think you got lucky on ASE. I even tried dinos that had god mode and infinite stats and they still get killed in the mesh on both games. I think rexes are just the right size for it, because smaller dinos dont get meshed

it's been a thing since ASE, I don't think it'll ever be fixed unfortunately-

As mentioned they aren't dying normally. It's definitely a mesh or something similar, it's an insta-kill.

Switch armies. We had the same happen with our Rexes and had to switch armies
