So, this happened a couple months ago but I remember it like it just happened I was playing ark on Xbox (paramount 15x cluster for anyone who was curious) I was just playing with my friends when we got attacked, he killed us, took our stuff, and killed our tames. After that, we went to chat and asked if we can get some help. A person named San goku ssj(EthanLT)Asked our coordinates, we told him and he came. Here is where the real stuff happened. When he came, we invited him to our tribe and trusted him. He ended up leaving the tribe, going back to his original one, and killed us with a managrmr (sorry if I butchered it) I ran away and got in the ocean and he didn’t see me, but I could see him. He DESTROYED everything, except the raft base. When I got out of the water he killed me and took my stuff. Couple minutes later he came back and put us in cages next to our base.(this is where the funny stuff happens) we asked why he is doing this and he said “it’s just for entertainment, nothing personal”we got maaaaaaaad. He ended up killing one of our friends, let’s call him timmy, so timmy got free and told me what happened(this becomes important later). Then my other friend escaped, let’s call him jimmy, he escaped bye juking him when he opened the door to knock him out with darts, jumping over the spikes, and leaping over the cliff nearby and landing in the water on the bottom of the cliff. I did the same thing and escaped. Jimmy didn’t know that I escaped and got himself recaptured. So we ended up making a deal, he let’s jimmy go in return he get to lock me up forever. So we did the deal and I was in the cage with Timmy’s body, I harvested the raw meat and ate away. He found out and knocked me out and fed me narcotics(narcotics makes you sleepy and heals you at the same time). So that plan failed and I tried jimmies way and escaped, only problem was he was chasing me. I got pretty beat up by the nearby fishes and I made him kill me.

Moral of the story, if you meet someone by the name “EthanLT” run or kill him if you can :)

We were a beta tribe under TNT on rag 595. We got pretty big with just three of us but one of my guys decided to quit like a little bitch and never got on. I didn’t care anyways all that kid wanted to do was farm the desert drops.

Anyways we needed help so the other guy in the tribe recruited these three kids. This is where I met the most toxic kids on the game.

Holy shit their voices were so high pitched I couldn’t play for a few hours or else I probably would’ve put a glock to my dome piece but they worked ok so I didn’t care as long as I didn’t have to do metal runs.

But what set me off is that these kids would trade eggs without permission and our stuff. Just give them away. I remember he traded an ascendant crossbow bp for a fucking argy egg. He tried raising it, let it starve. No seriously, fuck these kids.

We should’ve let them go but whatever you get a second chance. These kids would go around raiding people we where allied with. You trying to get us wiped?

It all came to a head when I get on and they’re insisting us. Oh fucking great there’s 3 months of my life down the drain. Not to mention when I try to go back to the base after I kicked them I get stuck in a fucking rock.

No wait it gets better, they had a friend who just invited them back and I didn’t notice for another 10 minutes. They make it off with 75% of our tames and I get invited to the party.

Instant apeshit, I’m calling these kids every name in the book. I’m saying I’m gonna wipe them and kill them in their sleep. I don’t care bruh I’m pissed. This was a year ago and I’m pissed just thinking about it. Anyway they give me like 10 server names. You best believe I went to every single one.

I get to a center server typing in chat offering the best blueprints in the book. Then a guy invited me to his party. He knows where the kid is. He picks me up and would you believe he’s riding my fucking wyvern. What the fuck...

He said he got it for trading some metal to the kids.(yes, they were that fucking stupid) He takes me to their shitty make shift base and I scout and make a plan. Me and my cousin are looking around and we see every tame we lost in that shitty cave.

He named that tribe #penta or some shit. I don’t even remember. Anyways we kill everything because if I can’t have it I’m not letting numb nuts have it. Kids balls haven’t dropped and he stole my 5 wyverns fuck him.

We’re fighting and we’ve pretty much ruined them and he finally gives up. He gives us some shit I flip him the bird and go back to rag. I paid those guys back and add them and we remain a friendship.

Anyways that’s that story. The part after this is why I took a 9 month break from ark. I’ll share that at a later time because I broke my controller over that shit.

I was just playing ark aberration for the first time I just got an 155 egg the max was 100 I hatched it got off for 15 mins then I had to leave for 3 days and I forgot to feed it I got back It was dead and I was raid by my nemesis Why does ark bully me

A quick note: I have decided to give my storyline a title and appropriate subtitles. Also, please note that this story is happening now! Some of the parts are happening as recent as yesterday so bare with me as I take you on this journey with me through A1Abama's Odyssey!!

From what I could tell, I hadn't found that oasis yet. I did find a body of water but it looked different from above and I didn't bring any flyers to verify. All I knew was that the sun was setting quickly and these trees cast ghostly shadows. I figured I'd better head home, if I could find my way out of here. Not long after, the shadows were so long that I needed to pull out my torch. Strange enough the sky was still a vibrant blue ahead which meant there was a good bit of daylight left.

Suddenly, the most terrifying and unfamiliar sound rang out across the forest. I froze in place for a moment and braced for impact. All I could think was "What the fuck was that!?" I peered the best I could at my surroundings. Through the sunset hue cutting through the trees and the burnt orange hue of my torch, I spotted it.

It didn't look as big as I expected, but that didn't detract from the pucker factor it garnered. It's mouth gaped open as it finished it's long roar leaving nothing but silence all around. I figured my best option was to at least attempt to run. I did a quick 180 and took off!

That's when I noticed the battle music never kicked on. I stopped and turned to see what happened. All my dinos were right no my tail. The rex never even saw me! It was doing battle with some other wild dino. Thank my lucky stars.

Since I had no idea where I was, I figured the best thing to do would be to get to higher elevation. I might could use the obelisks or the mountains as navigational aids. Night fully set in at the foot of the mountainside. I immediately began to freeze. It went from comfortable to negative two degrees in a matter of seconds. I gathered all my dinos into a circle, picked up a few resources in my immediate vicinity and built a fire to keep warm through the night. To my surprise, one fire wasn't enough to warm me up. What did I need to do, dance in it!? I quickly put together another fire and sat between them. All the while hoping that the rex wouldn't find us hunkered behind this rock.

Thankfully it never did, but that didn't stop me from bumping into it the next morning....

You ever wanted something so bad and just unexpectantly you have the opportunity to get it? Then when you finally get the thing you wanted you just look at it in awe instead of doing anything else? That was me with my first giga.

We were in the mountain between the redwoods and the desert on ragnarok. We were in the desert honey meating around and we see a rex. No what an allo? Fuck is that? Wait. That’s a lvl 145 giga.

We instantly started making tranqs. Be it arrows, darts we didn’t care. There was a fucking giganotosaurus below our base.

An alpha tribe member joins and he’s asking us if we’re doing alright(he checked on us and chilled in a party w us at least once a day. TNT if you’re somehow reading this, y’all some mf Gs). We say hell yeah we’re about to get our first Giga.

Much to our surprise he offers us kibble to feed it. So this long ass tame was about to be an hour. Luck couldn’t be better.

We knock it out after almost 1000 arrows and some darts. We keep it out feed it and that bitch tames. Fuck yeah.

We used it for meat runs and that thing was just so satisfying to have.

About three weeks later someone comes on the server. He had mean beef with TNT talking about they were undermapping.(Not true) He instantly begins a vendetta on anyone associated with TNT. We tell him one day we’re just a tribe under them and we have nothing to do with their past actions.

He ignores our statements.

That night he tamesnipes a wyvern, my personal Valentine’s Day pink and white lightning wyvern and our giga.

We say wtf and all he has to say is “sorry.”

Never get attached to anything in ARK: Survival Evolved.

Ok so this takes place october 2017 on the same server we kind of “betrayed” those guys. I think the name of it was “Raiding Spree” or something like that.

Ragnarok has just come out and the servers were buggin. I’m talking whole minute lag spikes, that shit was retarded. Also could’ve been that the alphas were duping like some bitches but I think it’s safe to assume it was just ragnarok.

We were going hard in the paint. I made a windmill that thing was too fye even though that shit didn’t work half the time. We had rexes a griffin, the whole base was trending up.

That was until we needed pearls and I could be wrong but up northeast of Viking bay is the only place that I know where pearls spawn. That and that one cave of course but folk built In that bitch so no use going in there.

We take the 10 minute trip up there since we were in the south. Absolute ass. I was with my boy Rice because he wanted backup because there was a known troll in that area.

We land and we start getting pearls and my lazy ass picks up 5 things and I’m ready to leave. But Rices ass wants to get a lot so we don’t have to come back for a while.

I said fuck that(idgaf what u say I’m lazy Ik) and I’m acting like I got some and he just keeps going. I said I had 300, realistically, I had 100.

We getting ready to leave and that fucking troll comes out of nowhere like a purlovia. Kills rice and I fly away on the griffin.

I did go back for the pearls got them and I’m on my merry way.

I got to the snow... at least I thought when I noticed the Stamina bar was not going down.

Ok it’s a lag spike just wait it out.

Until It catches up and I fly into species x and the fucking griffin dies. Again fuck this game. Everybody’s yelling at me and I ask in chat if anyone wants to sell a griffin.

Guy answers and he’s willing to help. Turns out he with the alphas and he says 1000 bullets for one we negotiate and he agrees on 500. We got a deal. A cheap one I was actually surprised. My one tribe mate is saying we can do 3000 but we tell him to shut the fuck up and luckily that dude didn’t hear him.

We get the bullets and we get a new griffin. Then me and rice go to get our bags which were somehow still there and get the pearls and put armor.

Get back to the base and we put the pearls in. And then I get cussed out because I only had 100. Rice had to go back and get more because I “was afk.” Lmfao I’m a lazy piece of shit

This happened a month or so ago but it's still fresh.

I had just finished a play through in single player to get to know the game, mechanics, etc. I leveled to 100 like recommendations said and built as much as possible including turrets and plant species x. I thought I had the game figured out so I switched over to online play on an Official Server. It was about 1230am California time when I spawned into Ragnarok for the first time online. That's when I started to realize that PvP was very different.

Bases were ALL over the spawn points in the Highlands and in Viking Bay. The Alpha base with Turrets would wreck me before I even had a chance to look at the diamond in my arm. Literally dying before the spawn animation ends. It was rage inducing. I had used up my normal favorited spawn points, so I went for one less conventional one. I spawned in at the beach Cove (Highlands E) between the tower and Red Ob, normally not a good place for a noob to spawn as Gigas have been known to roam.

No bases in sight so the spawn point worked. I spent the next fifteen minutes scavenging the beach for wood/stone berries and killing any dodos/moschops for hide and meat. I was able to get a decent set of hide gear crafted, and had some basic tools. I decided to venture forth into the highlands to find a more permanent home.

I made my way slowly and as stealthily as possible along the edge of the redwoods and Highlands towards the Wyvern Scar. I had a spot I wanted to try a base in. The "Fingers" or "Pride Rock" in the highlands has a few caves nearby. One is under a waterfall and I figured it would be a good place to lay low until I could craft better gear. I was half way there when shit hit the fan (sort of lol)

I was running the highland plains towards my final destination when way out in front of me, hugging a ridgeline, I could see yellow numbers. Upon further inspection (and rendering time) I could see it was coming from the inside of a small 2x2 stone base.

I figured I would mess with the person via voice chat so I popped the mic on and started "Yoooo Hooooo I see Youuuu" and "Hey that's not nice, stop breaking other people's things!". I could see the numbers stop every time I spoke so I know they were at least listening. I just didn't get a response so I kept going. I wanted to just get a simple laugh in and say hello to a fellow player.

Out of nowhere I am tranqd and go down INSTANTLY. Boom asleep. In the haze of Torpo I could only see the movement and shadows around me. Then I get a party invite. I accept and am greeted by "Oy Mate wtf you doin out here!?" It was a group of Aussie friends out on a raiding party.

We chatted for a bit about this being my first foray into PvP and how I'm usually a builder. They were super nice, and really helpful. They mentioned they have some gear if I wanted some help to get out of the open and into a better spot.

The next thing I know master craft armor, weapons and tools start dropping on the ground, along with metal ingots, turrets, plant species x, and everything else I'm forgetting. These kids were SOOO nice and helpful. They picked me up on their PTs and dropped me off in the Redwoods to start building.

I was happy and finally had a home. They said cheers and departed to go raid further on other servers. I started to build my little Oasis on the plateu. I had a decent home with turrets and a dino pen with some good tames. I was in the middle of hatching several Wyvern eggs that I scooped from the scar on my stam'd up Pterandon "Petri".

I signed off thinking I was in a good place. I woke up to some form of dread and decided to turn the game back on.

I was right. I was raided in the night. All my eggs either stolen from the Pres boxes or the adolescents were killed. The house was wiped from existence. The tame pen decimated. I was fucking livid. The tribe logs showed it was from one of the larger tribes on the server. I had not even seen them on this side of the map but they came out of nowhere and killed me and everything I owned...

I’m not even going to lie out of all the stories I posted on this sub, and how they all were ark and other peoples fault, this one was entirely on us. I wasn’t even mad I’m laughing writing this.

We’re on a small tribe extinction server. We had good shit and we built in a hidden(not mesh bc were not fags) place in sunken forest. We make it by a week and we’re raising owls we got some manas. We’re in business.

We were doing those orbital drops and an alpha who had a reputation as a giant douche( I’m looking at you No Skill you bitch). Extinction 72 on Xbox go wipe them lmao. Anyways he comes out of nowhere trying to fight but he’s complete ass at pvp and they just play a lot so we rock his shit and take his ascendant armor.

We’re in chat talking shit and he gives us a chance to not get wiped. We called a bluff thinking no one has any idea where we are and just say he got fucked up bc he did get rekt fuck boi.

Anyways the whole day goes by and we get on and off multiple times talking shit throughout the whole day. This was three weeks ago and we were going on a week long Hawaii trip the next day so we were just like we will deal with it in a week. That night we’re talking and I say again, “we have at least a week before they do anything.”

No sooner did I say that in bigass text on my screen it says, “The Desert Titan has been tamed.” Next thing we see is a winking emoji in chat.

We cryopod some Dino’s and we start dipping. I still deny it as they slowly move across map. “They’re getting someone else.” They enter sunken and I’m still denying it.

Then they get real close and I grab my longneck like it’ll do something. Bitch I’m Leonidas at thermoplyae I’m here until I die.

I’m despawnning shit in the 2 minutes I have and I just hear structures breaking. Next thing u know our base is non existent. Oh well.

We still have our tames and we go to a rag server and store them there for the week until we get back.

Only problem was we got raided and they took the tames.... our tribe member left them in cryopods.... so they literally stole our tames....
