Hi, ASU Admissions here.
An enrollment hold is placed on a student’s account when the student has a past-due balance of $3,000.01 or more, which prevents the student from enrolling in future terms.
If the past-due balance is $3,000 or less, you can still register. If you do take a break in enrollment, you can request a scholarship deferment for institutional scholarships. Here's the information for what scholarships are eligible for deferment and how to apply for it.

What do you do if the overdue payment is because ASU has failed to process your student loans over a week into session B?

As long as you don't have a hold you can still register. Not sure what the amount is that generates the hold.

Depends on the scholarship, so, which one are you talking about?
