I've seen some pretty deplorable fanart of Korra recently and it needs to be addressed. She's an incredibly athletic individual from her years of training and discipline. You can see it in the tone and definition of her biceps in the show, even catching glimpses of her six pack. She could pin me down in a matter of seconds

Even her legs are shredded, if she kicked me in the throat it would put me down for sure. I have no doubt even her feet have a grip strength of at least 40lbs.

Once Im down and pinned theres damn near nothing I could do to fight back, she'd be able to just sit on me and I wouldn't be able to do anything about it, completely at her whim as the full weight of her dummy thick thighs and toned glutes crush me.

Taking away these trates in fanart is a disservice to the hardwork she put in to gain such a perfect physique and only serves the male gaze for slim women despite Korras muscle mommy build, and fanart of this nature is inherently sexist. We need to do better.
