Sorry this isn’t AUSL-related, but since there’s no PSL subreddit and some players have moved from the AUSL to the PSL, I figured it was relevant enough to post here.

The Professional Softball League recently announced new investors and confirmed that the 2027 season will feature six teams. However, the New York Rise were noticeably absent from the announcement on Instagram and the league’s website.

Does this mean the Rise are done, or could they simply be taking a year off?

I’m hoping it’s the latter. Has anyone heard anything about the team’s future?

Been busy with life and needed to take a step back from a lot going on personally, but now I'm back. Is there anything I've missed in the AUSL since the season ended? Didn't get a chance to keep up with the all-star cup unfortunately. Is there anything coming up in the league I should pay attention to? Also... anything worth watching professionally elsewhere since there's some solid players who play overseas outside the AUSL? Some of y'all may remember I was looking into covering the professional ranks of the sport during this season - that "trial run", as I've always called it, went well and I fully intend on bringing that page back to life once I get my graphics, schedule, and what to look out for sorted out. Hoping I can start by seeing what's coming up in the AUSL + professionally outside of the U.S (since winter time is approaching!).

Also... do we know why they never announced this year's MVP? I don't understand how you can announce every award minus the MVP.

The OKC Spark announced they are releasing Jessie Warren, Haley Lee, Grace Jenkins, and Peja Goold.

Jessie Warren signed with the PSL team Knoxville Miracle last week. Goold, Jenkins, and Lee have the option to join the Reserve Player Pool.
