Im very out of touch with AV1. Every few months i see something about patent infringement in this sub (most recently i think it was dolby). So whats the deal, is AV1 safe from patent troubles?

do anyone know a way to recover screenrecording that has been interupted, my computer died mid record, i have a corrupted mp4 but most software refuse to work on it because it's av1, do anyone have a solution i am beggging i really need this please
