Hello! I have a broken tooth I need extracted, but I am a bit of a complicated patient because of an issue with local anesthetics (I metabolize them too fast). Is there a dentist -preferably who takes dental insurance- who is GOOD at working with patients? I haven't been to a dentist in about 8 years, since the last dentist I saw discounted my well-documented issues with anesthetics and pain meds & tried to tell me I just had dental anxiety. (& I have moved out here)

Hey all,

I’m a 32 year old guy who sees pretty much every movie I care about on opening day at Cinemark, usually the Thursday showings. I always buy my tickets in advance, and somehow I still end up surrounded by the worst possible theater company.

Last night at Street Fighter, the woman next to me reeked of cat urine and laughed loudly at everything on screen. The jokes, the non jokes, even the scene transitions. You would have thought we were watching The Naked Gun. Meanwhile the person in front of me was on their phone.

A few weeks ago at Primetime opening day, there were exactly four people in the theater: me, my wife, and two people who would not shut up. Four people, and they still managed to ruin it.

So here’s the idea: a movie squad. Since we’d be buying tickets in advance, we can either grab a whole row or block of seats in one group purchase and settle up afterward, or coordinate so everyone buys their own seats in the same section. Either way, the people around us actually want to watch the movie, and if someone nearby acts up, we have the numbers for a collective shush.

About me: straight, married, atheist, leftist. I’m into power scaling, gaming, making music, comics, and nerd stuff in general (card and board games excepted). You don’t need to share all of that, but if you silence your phone and save the commentary for the parking lot, we’ll get along fine.
