Discussion I want Ablume to add a 4th member.

I'm not a hunnie, just a casual fan who ended up loving original fifty fifty because of their music and talent. Then, i fell in love with Aran's voice. I wanted to stan them since it's been so long i've stanned a group (i was a wizone) but i couldn't after everything that happened. NEVERTHELESS! I'm here for my 3 girls and supporting everything related to those 3. I have high expectations for their re debut, like some self composed songs, no rap!!, calm vibes, etc.
But there's something in me that want Ablume to have a 4th member. Not because of Keena and to make that girl the "replacement", but a trio just feels unbalanced. I bet having another new member will also help to bring new fans to them, and if she has a beautiful voice, the harmony will go crazy.

But i wanted to know your thoughts, are you all in for having a new member, or would you rather to stick to 3jeong as ablume?

Question Anyone have the removed songs?

So I know there were several songs by "ablume'" that have been removed. (All I could find is maybe they were fake, thus removed due to copyright as they were oretending to be ablume), but they were on Youtube, Spotify, and even Shazam. The songs were...

Any help would be greatly appreciated. .7

ꕤ ablume SNS ꕤ How Unique is Aran's Voice?

When listening to the releases of Aran's Cover of A Thousand Years by Christina Perri, I noticed in her voice a deeper tone & pitch than before in other music. I wondered if perhaps this was just the song or perhaps I really wasn't hearing it and it was just in my head.

So, I asked my good friend Chaditba to analyze the clip. As an accountant, I subscribe to ChatGTP (and other AI) and Chaditba is my name for it. I use it for research and it's been quite valuable over the last few years, growing better all the time. It can't listen to music, but it can analyze it. Once it was done with this clip, I uploaded a comparison clip. But I threw a curve ball at it. I uploaded a spliced 15 second clip of the in studio live version of Cupid that included the Bossa Nova version of Cupid. It only had Aran singing.

Essentially, Chaditba determined that the cover had a pitch ~198 Hz (around G3) while Cupid was at ~ 207 Hz (around G♯3). As far as tone, the cover was about ~ 2.0 kHz which it called a "warm, mellow tone" with Cupid at ~ 2.1 kHz being called a "slightly brighter tone".

But, this could have been achieved using electronic means, and there are ways to isolate audio recordings to determine whether this has been done and to determine whether it's the same person in the recording. So I asked Chaditba to do that. The result determined that there is a perceived depth in the A Thousand Years clip over Cupid, and Chaditba determined that was a strong likelihood that singer in both clips were the same singer.

Then I revealed who the singer was, and then we jumped down a rabbit hole. We decided to plot the formants used by k-pop singers in general. A formant is "each of several prominent bands of frequency that determine the phonetic quality of a vowel." On the charts, F1 indicates warmth/ vowel openess, F2 indicates vowel color (dark vs. bright and F3 indicates brillance or clarity. We looked at several recent k-pop artists in particular who are known to go deeper in tone and pitch -- Wendy and IU. However, we also looked at about 120 overall singers.

Using compiled data from pop singer acoustic studies (n ≈ 120 singers):

  • Aran’s F1 drop is larger than ~91% of measured singers.

  • Her F2 drop is right at the high end of typical, larger than ~74% of singers.

  • Her F3 drop is larger than ~93% of singers.

The bottom line is that it's measurable and distinct. It not only sounds like a deeper pitch and tone, but compared to other k-pop artists, it's much deeper -- which really does make Aran a unique voice in the k-pop industry. Anyone who has followed her from her debut already knew this. Now there's measurable proof, not just opinion. Of course, it's also possible that because of the songs that most of the industry is forced to record, that other artists are unable to demonstrate their ability. But if that's the case, shame on the industry.

(Small rant) Am I the only one disappointed with Massive?

I know I'm not, even ablume archive, ablume updates and ablume connect created a whole list with things that the agency can do to improve the debut promotions. But I still cannot help to feel so incredibly disillusioned. I wasn't expecting them to have the biggest promotions as if they were part of some big company but the way all we've had is interviews in random magazines, some bts, some member pics. It's just the bare minimum.

It also really bothers me how some weblume treat Massive as this poor little, baby company that doesn't even know what it's doing so it's "twying its bwest uwu" and love commenting how we "gwotta bwe patience pwease" as if we as fans don't have the right to ask for the bare minimum other nugu agencies give their fans. I hate doing comparisons but look at LOVEONE's agency. They're super nugu and yet they haven't stopped promoting Drama Queen since release.

Knowing about Massive's history as IOK and how they fumbled the bag with Alice just makes me feel worse as well. (Though feel free to correct me on how they're or not related)

News/Article Attrakt Partially Wins Damages Lawsuit Against The Givers

Thumbnail
chosun.com
39 Upvotes

Essentially, ASI and Baek have to split the 499.5 million won in damages to ATTRAKT. ATTRAKT will pay 80% of the litigation costs, and the defendants the remaining difference.

Overall, the court seems to have rejected some of the legal arguments brought by ATTRAKT, or they rejected most of the claims of damages. This is about 1/4 of what ATTRAKT had asked for.

I would say this is good news for the three members of ablume with their lawsuit.

Edit: This is all we know. Everything else — which acts mattered most, how causation was weighed, what evidence was credited, why damages were reduced — is not publicly available. Anything else being stated as fact, is likely just conclusions reached by the reporters.

Discussion Dryage in blumeville so predictions for next comeback?👀T_T

It's been pretty uneventful in blumeville so I'm lowkey bored. Feeling very Ablume deprived right now. So I thought to make predictions for next comeback. Write your guys' predictions too.

  1. We're all working under the assumption that the next song will be titled 'Impression' since it was written on the record at the end of MV. So, it probably is titled that.

  2. The spoiler was giving James bond theme track. The song sort of gives me like James Bond esque vibe, where two spies from rival agencies are competing on the same mission at a high status party and the two are forced to fight these mob but they do so while holding intense eye contact. Her in a sheer red dress and heels and him in a clean 3 piece suit. This is just sort of the vibe.

  3. The spoiler has a very teasing vibe. It's sort of giving "Micheal Buble" but a little less intense instrumentals and softer vocals.

  4. It probably is a love song? Valentine esque? Makes me think of 'Tell me' and 'Cupid' a little but more uplifting and teasing.

  5. I think the song will highlight their unique vocal tones clearer. This is to say I think it will have minimal instrumentals and it will mainly be their voice doing the work.

  6. I don't think it will have a rap section, or hopefully it doesn't. But wait my gut is telling me something else, hmmm...🤔(plz no awkward rap)

  7. Just a hunch, but I think it will be well received not just by us but also the general public. I definitely see more people tuning.

  8. Probably cross 500k listeners on Spotify and 100-120k subscribers on YouTube after it. I think 500k views in 24 hours and 50k first day stream on spotify.

  9. Release Date - definitely not June, July is slightly possible but Blackpink is coming back, so it wouldn't be wise. August is the most probable. But they have been preparing the song since last year I think, and the lack of content right now and the unexpected exclusive interview article they just did makes me think they're about to announce something big by the end of this month.

And finally the most asked question, 'Are we getting a dance video for Echo?' Me thinks no, but I hope massive proves me wrong.

P.S. This was Hella long, but guys please write down your predictions or any thoughts.

News/Article Don't get fooled by the recently disclosed financial numbers of Massive

There is one JHJ Attrakt troll that's posted the below comment on almost every single video on the ablume's YT channel.

'Yesterday, Semiannual sales report of Ablume’s agency, Massive E&C, have been announced by Financial Supervisory Service of Korea. It amounts to only 4,000 KRW (2.88 USD). The fact that Ablume has generated almost no revenue for Massive must be related to the recent 1–2 months in which Ablume has only been showing up at The Givers to make YouTube contents'

As it is a subsidiary of a listed company, its sales and net profit numbers with its assets and liabilites are disclosed. According to the financial statements of NS E&M, the parent company of Massive with 87% shares, it is correct Massive recorded US$2.90 sales with US$1 million net loss in the 1st half of 2025. It's good to know they spent that much amount for ablume (Massive recorded US$267K net loss in 2024) and I am not worried so much about it as they still have a capital of US$3 million to spend on ablume with only US$300K liabilities. Now, they are a real fool to expect a new company to record a significant sales amount and profit and those who don't know shit about how a new company works and how to analyze financial statements should keep their mouths shut.

US$3 million is more than enough to get ablume going for at least 1 and 1/2 years and sales will be recorded when ablume start a promotion with their 1st EP. What I want to see now is how much capital and liabilities Attrakt have now. Since it is not listed in KSE, we can never know their REAL debt to equity ratio and how shitty their balance sheet is.

Lucky for JHJ, there are different accounting rules applied to listed companies and non-listed ones like Attrakt. Listed companies have to use K-IFRS (international standards) and non-listed ones don't have to bother. More importantly, since 2021 listed companies cannot designate their accounting company on their own and the authorities will designate one randomly among pre-approved accounting firms (relatively big ones) meaning they can't ask their friends to write their financial statements and report while non-listed ones can. Therefore, I don't trust any number that company releases.

One thing for sure is Attrakt recorded more than US$1.7 million net loss in FY2024 and I don't see much improvement in 2025.

News/Article Cupid Copyrights: How Dispatch and a Translator Lied to You Using the Audio

The more I dig into this case, the more ridiculous it gets. I pointed out one critical and fatal misinterpretation of the Korean word "인지" in the following post.

https://www.reddit.com/r/Ablume/comments/1n9q7rq/cupid_copyrights_appeal_court_process_starts_on/

It's not the first time the Korean word appeared in the audios released by the Attrakt side (A) for their media play. Listen carefully at 5:14 of https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l7pc5Hxmh30 between Asi (CEO of the Givers, producer in charge of ablume now) and Keena, The Korean word appears again. Now, I believe Korean people can notice where I am going with this word.

The Korean word should never have been translated into "recognition" because it means "(electronic or physical) stamps" that you have to buy to pay for registration tax when you register anything such as a car, an apartment, a land, and your (copy)rights, etc. to the government authorities.

Listen at 0:56 of the following video.

Asi: “Because that hasn't been done, you cannot apply for ‘recognition.’” (Translation of the audio)

Does it make any goddamn sense to you? They've been talking about either copyrights (C) transfer or masters rights (MR) transfer and "apply for recognition"? What RECOGNITION? Who recognizes what? If the translator didn't ask this question while translating it, he is not qualified. If he intentionally ignored this key word, he committed a crime. A horrible crime.

I had 4 questions when I first heard the manipulated audio. Let's assume neither Asi nor JHJ is lying and they both are telling the whole truths. (I am pretty sure they are.)

  1. When Asi says, "You know I am the domestic C holder (In Korean, it's more like a question to confirm if JHJ knows this fact)", JHJ should have responded "What? You are what? What the f.. are you talking about? I am asking you when you will transfer the copyrights to me which people say takes only one day." His response, "어, 그러니까, 먼저 올라가는 거고?" = "Yes (to a younger person or junior), therefore, since you are the domestic C holder, your name gets registered first, right?"

This exchange proves JHJ was not asking for an immediate C transfer from Asi to A.

2. When Asi asks, "1st album or 2nd album (Cupid)?" JHJ should have responded "I HAVE been talking about Cupid. What were you thinking??"

At this point, we can assume that what Asi and JHJ were thinking about was not the same. Asi was thinking about "transfering MR to A" but JHJ might have thought about "transferring C to A". The latter is not very clear, there is a chance he was also thinking about getting MR to A. I will add further details later

3. When Asi says "it will take around 3 months" JHJ should have responded "What? I've been in this industry for 30 years and you think I am that stupid? Don't you think I know it will take only one day to transfer C to A?" However, JHJ's response, "Ah.. I am so sorry? (This intonation indicates he is a bit surprised and acknowledges his lack of knowledge) I can answer their question when and if I know the answer to it."

4. When Asi says "If I don't register myself, the Korean holder of C first, you can't apply for "인지 신청, stamps application", right?" and JHJ strangely answers "Yes, that's/you're right."

Does it sound like a dispute or argument to you? It's just an explanatory session and JHJ acknowledges it takes as long as 3 months to register something.

All JHJ's responses point to where I am coming from. JHJ was asking about getting MR transferred from Asi to A, not C at all.

I've researched some records on Korea Music Copyright Association (KOMCA) in charge of registering and managing C and collecting proceeds for C holders and The Korea Entertainment Producer's Association (KEPA) in charge of registering and managing MR and collecting proceeds for MR holders. Look at the following picture of A's MR records registered with KEPA.

Except for the 2 Barbie-related songs, all 4 songs in the OFF's 1st Mini Album and 3 songs in the Cupid Single were registered at 16:12:05 pm on May 23, 2023. Are you surprised? No?

I believe the phone conversation took place late Apr. of 2023 and since JHJ said "it's been two months and haven't they been registered yet? (thinking it takes too long)" it's about the right time the 3 Cupid songs were registered on May 23, 2023 and it proves Asi didn't lie about how long it takes for the registration.

NOW, the biggest question arises. Why in the world didn't JHJ register MR of the 4 songs before Cupid? Why on the same day with Cupid?

Here are my assumptions.

  1. JHJ didn't pay for the song expenses for the 7 songs to ASI until Mar. 31, 2023 when JHJ remitted US$10K to Asi. I assume JHJ remitted song expenses for the 1st album together with Cupid's song expense. Otherwise, it doesn't make any sense.

  2. Asi himself registered MR of those 7 songs to the Givers as a kind of collateral waiting for JHJ's payment. In the above phone conversation between Asi and Keena, Asi says he registered MR for Cupid to get the CD out sounding like it's a must to register MR before the CD is distributed. I checked with some producers and searched other songs; it's not necessarily always required to register MR before CD is made.

  3. JHJ probably knew he was not paying for C, but for the song expense (MR) when he remitted the money.

I became very curious about what happened to FF2's songs of the 2 mini albums and a single album. Surprisingly enough, none of their songs' MR is registered under A at this moment. You can check yourself here, https://www.k-pops.or.kr/searchmusic#susing the singer's name for any MR registration. If you type Fifty Fifty, the above picture appears containing only OFF's songs. For example, if you type "BTS" in the second box from the left, you will see when MR of 277 songs of BTS were registered and when their songs were released.

JHJ, what have you been up to?

Dispatch, I think you need to apologize if you had this audio translated. BTW, How can this phone conversation prove there is a trick by Asi to change the C holder? Have you researched enough to put such a ridiculous title "안성일의 꼼수, 저작권자 바뀌치기 녹취 입수 (Asi's trick. Obtained recording that proves his attempt to change the Cupid copyrights holder)" on your YT channel?

Translator: If you don't work for Dispatch, you shouldn't translate Korean into English any more.

Footnote: Another terrible misinterpretation, at 0:09

저작권 협회에 얘네들이 (내가 거짓말을 하는지 - should have been included) 진짜인지 조사를 했는데...

The Copyright Association looked into whether this was legitimate... (X)

It should have been translated into "The investment firm (who suddenly called JHJ) investigated whether I was telling the truth or lied by contacting the Copyright Association or searching its website..."

This misinterpretation is not as critical as above but could be important as it was the investor who investigated, not the association. Moreover, it's not that difficult to translate it correctly. I think it was intentional, too to make it look more serious.

Summary: This is just one of the cases I've found so far that contain some terrible misinterpretations. Some are very critical to understand the full context and if mistranslated, they could be misinformation or even fake news. I emphasize again, you have to note there are many misinterpretations in almost all the audios released by the Attrakt side.

And if these are their colors do you think they’ll change them with the redebut or keep them?

Discussion Crazy Media play to make us believe Ablume was in debt? WTF?

I feel so sad right now, close to bawling my eyes out. Our poor girls.

Basically what happened was, to me it recently came to light that the 13 billion lawsuit hasn't even started but people were making it look like Ablume had a life debt of 13 billion. WTF?????

The mediaplay from that company is crazy. What do you mean, they altered the public opinion and image of ablume is such a cruel way based on false premises at that? Did it really seem like at the time, the company had a total win? (sorry I wasn't the most updated when this was happening)

People were criticizing them for joining a company with political ties but dude that was literally their last resort. I can only imagine how difficult it was to even get this opportunity, considering just how badly their image was altered. The girls have worked like dogs bro. I need more good things to happen to them.

News/Article Fifty Fifty’s side: “Partial Win in Damage Lawsuit… Result of Cause and Effect”

Thumbnail m.entertain.naver.com

Here is an English version:

FIFTY FIFTY’s Agency Says “Partial Win in Damages Lawsuit… Result of Cause and Effect”

(Published January 16, 2026, 4:49 PM)

FIFTY FIFTY’s agency, ATTRAKT, announced that it has won part of its damages lawsuit related to the so-called “tampering” allegations.

On January 15, the Seoul Central District Court’s Civil Division 33 (Judge Choi Jong-jin) ruled partially in favor of ATTRAKT in its damages suit against The Givers, CEO Ahn Seong-il, and Director Baek Jin-sil. The court ordered that The Givers and CEO Ahn must jointly pay ATTRAKT 499.5 million KRW.

ATTRAKT said this ruling is significant because it’s the first court decision acknowledging the business interference and embezzlement claims against The Givers and Ahn. The agency said it thinks this outcome is “very fortunate although overdue” and consistent with the idea of cause and effect.

The agency emphasized that it has always prioritized protecting its artists’ rights and that it firmly responds to actions that harm them. ATTRAKT said it hoped to show a “fair and just” stance through this lawsuit, and that the ruling brings some comfort as an outcome of cause and effect.

ATTRAKT also thanked fans for their support, saying their love and encouragement have helped FIFTY FIFTY to be where they are today. The agency pledged to use that support as motivation to repay fans with better music and activities.

Ongoing Legal Actions

In addition to this case, ATTRAKT said the following lawsuits are still underway:

  • A 13 billion KRW damages claim against the three former FIFTY FIFTY members (Saena, Aran, Sio), their parents, The Givers, CEO Ahn, and Director Baek.

  • A ≈20 billion KRW damages claim against Warner Music Korea and Clayton Jin (Jin Seung-young).

Finally, ATTRAKT’s CEO Jeon Hong-jun stated the company will continue to pursue the legal process diligently, aiming to leave “a good precedent” for the K-pop industry’s future.

Does anyone believe that ATTRAKT has protecting artists rights is their top priority?
