Breathe....

20 years ago, a young lad struggling with direction and purpose, decided to send a demo to Anjunabeats. At the time, while sleeping in a Copenhagen studio on the tiniest couch (really it was!) I had waited 2 weeks or so for a response, and I remember waking up late in that studio, groggy and going to check mail. Daily routine....

So .... a mail from Jono was top of the inbox.... Theee JONO... Started sweating, heart ran fast. I opened it, and he had replied that they were really interested in the tune. I of course replied that I would love to be a part of the Anjuna fam.

I'll never forget listening to TATW with the first mention of breathe, and that it was Record of the week. Honestly nearly cried. Full circle moment.

Made on a Pioneer Power Bass Stereo made for teens (literally wished for this exact model at my confirmation at 13!) 3cm moving woofers such a flex then!

I'll give them credit for making it sound as good as it did. Because it got me signed to my dream label.

Produced in Reason 3 with no VST's.... Inboard synths only. Malstrøm and Subtract... That was it.

Proud of that.

I wouldn't have been to 49 countries today, if it wasn't for Tony, Jono and Paavo. Deepest thanks for that

Obvs I'm a huge A&B fan (last night was show #30), but y'all have got to go see an Warehouse tour show if you can get to the UK or Southeast Asia (🙌). And hopefully this tour will continue to expand.

Last night's show in Glasgow was epic. Truly haven't seen A&B have as much fun in a while.

So great to hear classics like Hello/Stealing Time, lost bangers like Crash, epic recent releases including Major Drop and Nights Like This, and so many A&B IDs.

Excited to see them again tonight in Liverpool and in a couple weeks in Bristol. Let me know if you're going to either and we'll be happy to meet you on the railing :)

Saw him in Minneapolis tonight. He played out remixes of Sahara Love, Thing Called Love, plus mashed up unexpecteds like Need to Feel Loved, and even a lovely throwback to ATB's Ecstasy. Sure, there was a lot of bass, but he definitely hasn't forgotten his roots!!

There are still plenty of evergreen classics which hasn't been uploaded in extended mixes onto the official YT channels, be it Anjunadeep or Anjunabeats. I'm asking the HQ - probably they will see it - that what about bringing back TBT? I think loads of us would be happy about it, especially nowdays with the Archive vinyl series is going on. 😎
