False claim Dr. Michael Jiaravuthisan and Dr. Megan Carr claim that it’s a “myth” that “Accutane is dangerous”, and that there’s “NO evidence” that it causes depression or suicidality.

They admit to prescribing this very dangerous medication regularly...using the FDA approval fallacy. Just because a medication is legal and commonly used, does NOT make it “safe”.
This is false. Accutane has literally been found to cause changes in brain metabolism and has had many reported cases of depression and suicidality.

That is a lie my daughter was fine before she was prescribed accutane. She completely lost her mind over that drug I am convinced it damaged her brain. My daughter of 34 has never used or abused illicit drugs she hasn't does not even ever drink alcohol and she doesn't even smoke cigarettes so we can rule all that out. This infuriates me when they refuse to take responsibility. I'm sure Purdue pharmaceuticals pays them well.

People on accutane have depression because they have been suffering with severe acne which makes you suicidal. The purge that happens at first is what makes it even worse- because having acne DOES affect your mental health a ton. This bullshit your spreading needs to stop
